– Draco's pov –

There was, between us, a weightless, seamless desire.

"I want to feel us." Y/N said. And when I lowered myself upon her and sank as deep as I could go, her voice was replaced by that high keening hum. I watched her face as best I could. Her lips parting, stretching, her mouth opening in a silent howl. Eyes closed and then suddenly open, staring up at me with real helplessness, mixed with hunger and surprise...

– y/n's pov –

"There is no week that passed that I did not think of you." Draco whispered. We were now laying side by side on his bed.

"Is that true?" I turned to face him and he was already facing me.

"Yes." He smiled, which made me smile.

"Can I ask you something?" I asked.

"Mhmm" Draco closed his eyes.

"Why do you have your own room?"

"I often sleepwalk and make loud noises from... my dreams. It scared my roommates." His response got me surprised and it reminded me of the morning after the Quidditch after-party. He was panting from his "bad dream", I recalled.

I didn't question further but instead gently brushed his hair with my fingers. Draco then leaned over, kissed me on my forehead, and pulled me into a hug.

"Don't worry. I'm fine." Then I closed my eyes as well. We fell asleep, embracing each other like that...

I'm in this dream again? It was the dream that I had dreamt annually for the past four years on 31st of August. The only difference was that now I recognised the place...

It's Hogwarts..! Just a bit darker and eerier...

I had been pretty overwhelmed with all the events that were thrown at me ever since I arrived here and I'd completely forgotten about the dream. But here I was again, walking down the grand corridor.

My feet stopped and I found myself in front of a wall again. It was the magical wall (from what I remember) that was soon to reveal a wooden door and... it did. When it appeared, my hand rose and grabbed the skeleton-shaped silver knob.

This means that I will be seeing the man again..? I remembered seeing the blond man who... now that I think about it... He resembles Draco..!

The door creaked open and I did see the man. His back was facing me so I couldn't see his face but... it was so Draco. My feet took me to him closer and closer... As my distance to him shortened, my breathing got heavier. He was sitting on the cold floor, looking down at someone in his arms.

Oh, no. I wanted this dream to end so badly. I didn't want to see who he was holding. I had a bad feeling. Soon, I could hear him sniffling while trembling. The sight broke my heart. Just as I took a step closer, he screamed in pain. The dream didn't allow me to approach him further before, but this time was different.

I walked towards him hesitantly, walking past Draco to stand in front of him and... I gasped. I wanted to deny it but it really was Draco and it was... me in his arms.

My breathing got heavier, seeing myself lying in his arms, helplessly. I seemed badly injured and I couldn't help but drop on my knees.

"Draco..?" I tried brushing off the tears on Draco's face with my trembling hand but I couldn't reach him. It felt as if my heart was being broken into pieces. Tears began strolling down my cheeks and...

I woke up.

"Y/N..?" When I opened my eyes, Draco was staring at me worriedly. I sniffled.

"...Bad dream?" Draco whispered. I nodded slowly. Draco gently put his hand on my face and wiped off my tears.

"Wanna tell me what happened..?" Should I tell him? I shouldn't... right? I then slowly caressed his face; the face that I couldn't touch in my dream.

"Just... my parents. They were in my dream." I had to lie. I didn't even want to think about the dream. It was the most unpleasant dream and the ominous feelings it caused were unsettling.

"Hold me tighter, Draco." Then Draco promptly pulled me closer to his chest. His fresh scent and the warmth of his skin calmed me down a bit.

"It's just a dream." He whispered as he patted my back gently.

It should just be a dream...

"Should we do something fun?" He looked at me with half opened eyes, smiling.

"Yes, please." I let out a deep sigh and smiled.

"What exactly are we going to be doing here, Draco..?" I questioned suspiciously.

"Oh, bad things." He smirked. We were in the library and to be more specific... right in front of the Restricted Section.

"We are not even supposed to be in the library... Hey!" I whisper-shouted cautiously as Draco unlocked the Restricted Section door and dragged me into the dark eery space. We then both began giggling.

"What's hidden in here, anyways? Why is it off limits to students?" I was curious.

"Because it has restricted books." Draco answered as he traced the array of thick old books on the shelf with his finger.

"Books that contain powerful Dark Magic never taught at Hogwarts. They can only be read by older students studying advanced." He added.

"Well, okay. You just explained why we shouldn't be here so... let's go back out before we get into trouble!" I grabbed his hand and tried dragging him back outside but he didn't even wince. Instead, I was the one who was dragged.

"Oh, trouble is what we're here for, Y/N." Draco pulled me over and pressed me against the shelf he was looking at. There was hardly any light and I was "lumos"ing our way with my wand, which now dropped on the floor. I could feel his face getting closer to mine. His breath fell on my lips and I closed my eyes... Then something touched my lips that was not Draco's lips.

"Tempting, but not now." Draco was holding an old book, which was put against my lips.

"Ew!" I shoved his arm off to remove the book from my face. Draco picked up my wand from the floor and spoke.

"I found our trouble." He smirked and waved the book in front of my face.

"What is it?" I asked, embarrassed. Thank god it's dark, he can't see my heated face.

"A book that will allow us immense fun." Draco answered. Then I saw the book's title.

And potentially protect me... I thought to myself.
