Jennie's POV

Not our typical saturday of the weekend, I am here at the cafe helping, because the cafe has a lot of customers than our usual day. I am helping because the more the customers are, the more of the demand of our product.

I was refilling the cupcakes stall at the counter when I bumped into someone.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry" She spilled a little of her coffee in my dress. Then she tried to wiped my dress. My attention is still in my dress.

"No it's okay ma'am. No need to worry. Are you okay?" I asked the customer. She is wearing a sunglasses.

When she looked at me in the eyes "Jennie?" She asked shock then she take off her glasses.

"Rosie" I blurted seeing her face again.

"Oh my god Jennie" She rushly hugged me. I hugged back "I've missed you" then she pulled away "How are you?" She excitedly asked.

"Good, you?" I asked back.

"I'm fine, Oh my god it's been so long, what are you doing here?" She asked. Then she eyed me from head to toe. She stops at my apron "Are you working here?".

"Oh, you can say that. Actually this is mine" referring the cafe. She showed an 'oh' face.

"Ohh, I see. Then I have the reason to visit often" She smiled sweetly. Then she looked at her wrist watch "I'm so sorry Jennie, but I have to go. I still have an appoinment" She hug me again "I'll make time to catch up with you. Babye" I nodded.

"Take care" That's all I can say. She waved at me then started walking out the cafe.

I am happy seeing her again

But I am afraid too

Is she here too?

Is she with Rosie?

What if we met again?

What will I say?

Will she get home?

What would her reaction be, if she found out that I was living in her penthouse?

There are so many what if's in my head right now.

Am I ready to see her again?

Is she ready to see me again?

I shrugged all my thoughts because the cafe needs me now.

Rose's POV

Actually I am expecting Jennie to be there and I purposedly bumped into her as soon as I saw her refilling the cupcakes.

Hahaha that is my only way for her to recognized me.

I kept in touched with Jisoo so I know what's happening to her throughout the whole 2 years being away with her.

Actually I didn't avoided her it's just that I was assigned on Australia by my company to handle our branch there, while Lisa is been traveling around the world going business tripping. I also know that she is living in Lisa's penthouse throughout.

I know that Lisa is aware of what's going on, on her because despite of her sudden goodbye she keeps Connor beside Jennie, as well as Tyler and Carl too with me and Jisoo.

Lisa is still head over heels for Jennie, it's just that she chose to stay away from her because she's afraid she'll hurt Jennie again even more so she chose to be away from her life.

Yes, Jennie is her life. The time she left Jennie it's like she died from then too, my dear friend rarely smile or laugh now. Even almost the whole world knows her exsistence she never showed her soft side. She'll smile at us but you wouldn't see her smile to others now, not unlike before.

Unlike before that she is the sweet, charming and joyful person we know. But now? She is like a different person, well she is still our sweet and charming Lisa, but we barely see that in her now.

I was going to meet up with Lisa for breakfast, she just get back from paris yesterday morning so we arranged this day for us to meet up and catched up.

I know that she knows also that Jennie is the owner of that cafe, she's a regular customer there, she personally bought her own drinks everytime. But she isn't staying that long on the cafe. She barely see Jennie there she said, because Jennie is always at the kitchen. So she don't know if Jennie recognized her. I bet not because if she is, why didn't she tried to approach Lisa?. I mean it's obvious that Jennie is waiting for her like hello, Jennie is staying at your penthouse.

But my dear friend is a coward. Afraid to approach the brunette first. I mean she knows that Jennie is still single bacause of Jisoo, but something is stopping her from approaching the brunette again.

I don't know what's with the two *rolled eyes*.

As soon as I reached her company building I dialed her number right away, she said she'll be down and to just wait for her.

"Chaeng, where are we eating?" She asked clinging in my arms.

Jennie's Cafe is actually a walking distance in her building, I don't know why Jennie didn't notice that, or why didn't she have seen Lisa once in her cafe.

"You suggest" I answered, then she dragged me somewhere. She's wearing a sunglasses too.

She brought me to an italian cuisine "So, what's up?" I start, she arched her left eyebrow to me.

"What?" She blankly utter.

"It's not nice to answer a question for another question" I sarcastically said. She rolled her eyes to me "What's the progress I mean? With Jennie?" She shrugged her shoulders to me.

"Come on mate, why don't you take a shot atleast?".

"She's fine even without me".

"Really? We both know that she is still waiting for you" A fact.

"She's just guilty" She coldly said.

"It's been two years Lisa".

"Yeah, yet the pain is still here, I am still hurting".

"I'm sorry" that's all I can say. After that convo, our breakfast filled with silence.

"Jisoo is asking for a dinner, it's her birthday, can you?" She asked. I nodded.

"When?".

"Tomorrow" She simply reply then drink at her glass of water.

"Oh right, I bumped into her earlier" She looked at me confusedly.

"Jennie" She get her gaze back at her pasta "She's at her cafe earlier by the time I visited for a coffee. Now that she sees me, I know she's already wondering where you are" she harshly stabbed a sausage using her fork and put it in her mouth.

"Can we stops this already?" She annoyingly uttered "My job is more important than anything else now, I don't have tine for bullshits" oh wow!.

"Better get that job done so you can get your life back".

"Oh come on, get the fuck out of my life" It was always her reaction everytime I teased her that Jennie is her life. She's like a dead child without Jennie beside her.

"Yeah, continue lying to yourself" she just rolled her eyes to me.
