Coffee Delivery

Jennie's POV

After Rosie texted me Lisa's building floor, I quickly brewed myself her latte, the way she wanted as per Amie, when I think it was ready I packed three cupcakes too.

I was so excited crossing the road to get at her building floor, I was still excited riding the lift and pressed her building floor button when I heard the elevator ding indicating I reached the floor, I soon get out and head at the information desk.

"Hi, what can I help you Ma'am?" The person in the information desk gracefully asked.

"Hi, I am here for Lisa Manoban" as I smiled back at her.

"Do you have any appointment with her Ma'am? Or was she expecting you?" Oh right!.

"Ahm, I don't have, but i'm just here to give her these" I lifted the coffee I was holding.

"I'm sorry Ma'am, but i'm afraid I can't let you in. Miss Manoban, doesn't accept visitor if it's not booked an appointment or her expected visitor" She apologetically uttered.

"Can you atleast let her know that I am here?" She looked at me for a second hesistant if she'll give me a shot but soon took the phone to dial some number.

"Hi, Miss Luna, this is Kyla from the information desk" She started."There is someone here expecting to see Miss Manoban" Then she put down the phone first "May I know your name Ma'am?" She asked me.

"Jennie, Jennie Kim" I smiled widely, she nods then she get the phone back at her ear.

"Her name is Jennie Kim, Miss" She took a couple of minutes before she dropped the call, she looked at me apologetically again.

"I'm sorry Ma'am, but Ms. Manoban's secretary won't allow you to meet up with her if you hadn't have any appointment" I nodded in disappointment.

"Can you be able to atleast lend her this? Please. Just give her these" she was still hesitant but she soon obliged. But I leave a note on her coffee cup, hoping she'll consider me visiting.

Lisa's POV

As usual, I burried myself again on work. There is no need for me to be a crybaby, for being heartbroken again and again.

I decided not to get my morning coffee for today, I don't really feel like seeing her again if ever.

I was doing my usual work, signing paperworks, reviewing proposal and reading the emails that was supposedly be read by me being a CEO.

Aarrghh! I am so tired!

Not long enough when I heard a knocked on my door, if it wasn't my secretary that would be Robert or Rosie. And as expected it was Robert handing me the paper bag I left at my car, it was my spare clothes for the meeting I am going to attend later.

"Thanks, Robert" I get back my gaze at the papers infront of me. As he put the paper bag at the sofa. I thought he already left when I heard the door shut. But to my surprise there is this silhouette waiting for me upfront my table "Do you still have anything to say, Robert?" When I looked up I was surprised to see the person smiling widely at me.

What the hell?

"Good Morning hon, Coffee delivery for the gorgeous lady, working so hard" She put the cup of coffee in my table "And oh, I baked some red velvet cupcake for you, to matched the coffee. I exclusively baked that flavor. It is still not on the menu list of the cafe" She even opened the cupboard revealing a 3 cupcakes inside.

"W-what are you doing here?" I stuttered a bit, still shocked by her sudden presence.

"Well, you hadn't visit the cafe this morning so I decided to deliver your coffee personally" She showed me her gummy smile, now I gathered my strength and face blankly infront of her.
