Me and Gerard were gonna see a movie together.

They were doing movies in the park and was I lucky when they were showing a scary movie. They were gonna show Dawn of the Dead, one of his favorite horrors.

I didn't have money so a free movie that he likes is a bonus. I'm gonna ask him out... on another date... for the next Friday.

Me and Gerard walked together, holding hands. It was just this best friend thing that we do. I don't know why we do it. We just do. I really liked Gee.

When we got there it was a pleasant surprise to him to find out what they were showing. I brought our own popcorn, so we went straight to the grass to sit down. I didn't bring a blanket so we had to get our butts wet sitting on the damp grass.

The movie started and about halfway through, it started raining. Everyone started clearing out but me and Gerard stayed. They finally turned off the film and me and Gerard were cast in silence.

"Gerard?" I said shyly.

"Yes Frankie", he giggled.

"Do you wanna go out on a date with me next Friday? To any restaurant you want", I said enthusiastically.

"Ugh, what kind of question is that? Of course!" Gerard hugged me.

I blushed and hugged him back.
