Gerard was at my house, watching this new movie with me.

It was hilarious, like, this fish was so stupid as to not listen to his dad and it's his fault he got kidnapped. But regardless, his dad came to save him anyways.

Then, it started raining really hard really fast.

Gerard snuggled up closer and closer with me as it started to thunder and lightning.

Eventually we were latched together.

Then, the sky flashed and our house went dark.

Gerard began to scream loudly.

"Gerard, shhh, it's just a storm and a power outage", I comforted.

My mom ran down.

"Are you guys okay?" she asked, urgently.

"Yeah, why?" Gerard asked.

"Because a window upstairs broke", my mom said.

Gerard gasped and somehow moved even closer to me.

"Gerard, it's okay. I won't let the lightning hurt you", I puffed out my chest.

Gerard giggled.

"I'm gonna call your mom and you guys go down into Frank's room", my mom pointed to the basement door.

My mom dialled a number as me and Gerard got up and went downstairs.

"Frankie it's dark", Gerard cried.

"Shhh, when we get downstairs, there's a flashlight by my bed", I said.

Gerard held my hand tightly, not wanting to let me go.

Then Gerard nearly stumbled over something on the stairs.

I had forgot that I left my little keyboard on the stairs so I could have like a chair for playing it.

When we got to the bottom, I felt around for my bed.

I had Gerard sit down as I found the flashlight.

I illuminated the room.

I remembered a hook I had hanging from the ceiling.

The ceiling was low so all it took was me standing on my bed to get to it.

I got some guitar strong that Gerard gave me once and hung the flashlight above our heads.

"See? It's just like a real light", I said.

Gerard smiled and hugged me.

We heard the door open and both of my parents walked in.

"Be careful there's a piano on the stairs", I called out.

My parents were cautious of the stairs and when they got down they smiled at our make shift light.

"Your mom said you could spend the night if you want, but if not she can bring her car over here and pick you up," my mom said.

"No, I wanna stay here", I hugged Frankie.

"Okay, that's fine. We'll be upstairs okay Frank?" my mom said.

I nodded as my parents left.

Gerard slept really really close to me that night. And we didn't even have school the next day so we got to finish our movie!

Starting a bunch of new fan fictions so I'm just gonna publish a few chapters (including the 50th chapter special) and work on those. Thanks for reading
