Okay. So I know this doesn't follow my story but for first period, I had a prompt on a bellringer. It was "The one shoe is in the road. Why is it there? Write a story about the circumstances that led to the shoe in the middle of the road". I pretty much wrote a sad one-shot and I thought I should share! Enjoy!! Also. One faithful day, Gerard Way was walking down the street.

He was upset because of how he had to fit in. He was forced into a life of bullying. You know what they say.

Bully or be bullied.

He was Frank Iero walking coyly down the street. His heart hurt as he remembered the earier event; he gave Frank Iero a swirly.

His black hair was still damp and unruly and he looked truly disgusted.

He must have not seen Gerard, because he didn't run when Gerard approached him.

"Frank?" Gerard asked.

Frank jumped and looked up at the familiar face. His eyes widened and he looked ready to bolt to avoid any conflict.

"I'm not here to hurt you", Gerard said. "I just wanted to say I'm sor-".

Gerard was cut off by Bert across the street.

"Hey Gerard! Throw a shoe at the wimp!"

Gerards first flight instinct was yo do as the fellow bully had said. Gerard removed his shoe and threw it at him, clear in the face.

Gerard knew the tears were coming and he ran away to hide the shame. Frank was flustered. He didn't know what had just happened, but he was used to it. He just lowered his head and walked away,

feeling betrayed by his childhood friend.
