Chapter 7

"How was the quiz?" Those were the first words that came from their friends as soon as they met them in the parking lot

"I think we got it. It wasn't that hard." Lisa answered humbly "Uh, where are Kai and Jen?"

"They are on their way. Kai needed to do something and we have no intentions to know it." Irene wrinkled her nose, showing how she dislike the guy

"I noticed that you're not that fond of Kai. Why?" Jungkook asked

"He's a douchébag." They all simply answered

Lisa couldn't understand why they call Kai a douchébag, though he's boastful sometimes, she knew that Kai is a good guy for Jennie; unfortunately.

"Seul, could you give Lisa a ride to your house? I'll just need to do something." Jungkook requested, "It will just be quick."

Lisa pouted "Where are you going? Are you cheating on me?"

Jungkook laughed because he found Lisa's behavior cute. "Of course, I'm not." He leveled his face to Lisa's and said "Wait for me, okay? I was the one who fetched you so I'll be the one who will take you back home."

"You're showing too much PDA." Rose teased the two "Don't worry, we'll take care of your girlfriend."

Jungkook leaned on to kiss Lisa's cheek but it landed on the girl's lips instead.

"I... I gotta now." He waved goodbye to them before driving away

"Hey." Seulgi nudged Lisa's shoulder "Why are you surprised that your boyfriend kissed you?"

Lisa was now back to her senses "No, it just surprised me that he could show his affection in public now." She lied

Minutes after teasing Lisa, the couple finally came, wondering why Lisa is blushing.

"What is happening here?" Kai asked

"We're just teasing Lisa." Rose plainly answered, "Let's go."

"Kai can't join us today. Seul, give me a ride?"

"Sure, you sit with Lisa in the backseat." Seulgi said

"No, I'll ride with Jisoo instead." Lisa refused to breathe the same air with her liar best friend

Though they are confused about why Lisa refused, they kept their mouth shut and just went along.

"Your voice really fits in different genres." Irene complimented their vocalist after practicing their second song

"Thank you." She looked at her wristwatch "Why Jungkook isn't here yet?"

"Why don't you call him?" Jisoo suggested

Lisa stood up from the couch and excused herself to call Jungkook.

After three rings, they heard a ringtone coming from the entrance of the studio.

"You miss me already?" Jungkook teased while showing his phone to Lisa

"I'm just worried because you said that you'll just be quick." Lisa approached Jungkook "Flowers?"

Jungkook gave the bouquet of white roses to his girlfriend "For you."

Lisa accepted the bouquet "What's the occasion? It is our 100 days anniversary today?"

"Silly, no. I just want to give my girlfriend a surprise. A thank you gift for helping me with the quiz." Those words came out naturally from him

Lisa on the other hand thought that it was just part of their pretentious relationship.
