Marks POV
I saw Ellie and Staale hugging. Typical that she would forgive him she's just too nice. I was warming up with sven when I heard her scream. I look around frantically for her "ELLIE" I screamed. I saw her at the bottom of the course with Seb on top of her. Oh god they had a collision. I boarded down as fast as I could to see her holding her wrist and fighting back tears. This was not good.
ELLIES POV
I was walking across the bottom of the Slopestyle course to get to my seat to watch Mark when I heard someone shout "watch out" before I could move someone smashed into me and I screamed as a fire erupted in my wrist. "Ellie" I heard Mark scream and no more than a minute later he was at my side. "C'mon babe lets go to the medical tent" he said
"Ok babe" I can't believe I just injured myself not even on a board. As I was waking to the medical tent a pain started in my ribs causing me to clutch my side. "Babe are u ok?" Mark asked. I nodded as we made it to the medical tent. "Hi Hun what seems to be the problem?" The first aides asked with a smile "collision on the course. Wrist and ribs."is all I could get out as the pain grew. "Ok Mark can you step outside whilst I treat Ellie?" She asked and Mark shook his head "yes he fucking can get out while you treat me"i said glaring at Mark. He left and the doctor gently lifted my shirt to look at my ribs. She will see all the scars my father gave me shit. I have to leave. "You know what doc. I'm feeling fine I can go "I said standing up only to get pushed back down "you've sprained your rib and your wrist. Your staying put while I wrap them. She wrapped my arm and gave me some pain meds then she left. I assume to let Mark back in.
Marks POV
"It's just a sprain in both her left wrist and 3 of the right side ribs. She's had worse."the doctor said. "Excuse me. Worse. What do you mean?" I said confused. "Well she has extensive scarring on her back and scars on 70% of her body and on her wrists. I assume from self harm.Did she serve in the army?" The doctor said " no, I don't think she did" I said quietly "well the last person I saw with that much scarring served in the army for 4 years. she's a tough girl who's had a round past. Take care of her"the doctor said. I nodded and walked in just as Ellie finished pulling down her coat and I saw her scar covered back. That wasn't from snowboarding
