I woke up slowly before my eyes started scanning the room I was in. I wasn't in my room, so I knew I wasn't at my house.

I quickly sat up in my bed, and then my head started hurting like I got hit by a baseball bat or something. I glanced across the room and saw Petra sitting in a chair reading a book.

"Petra? What are you doing here?" I questioned as I began getting out of bed, when I set my foot on the floor it felt like I was about to fall to the ground.

I stumbled a little bit and Petra set the book down, then rushed over to me before sitting me down on the bed, "You need to lay down."

"Why are you here?" I questioned as she sat me down on the bed.

She crosses her arms over her chest, as she stares at me before saying, "I live here.''

"Really?" I questioned her while attempting to get out of bed.

She nods her head, "Yes, now be a good little boy and lay down, you were wasted last night."

I let out a small chuckle, "If I had a dollar for every time a woman has said that to me."

"You'd be broke Xavier." She tells me with a smirk on her face, "Now get back into bed."

I rolled my eyes as I did what she said, I laid back in bed and pulled the covers over me before asking, "What happened?"

"Well, Kylie called me last night saying that you were drunk. No one wasn't picking up the phone, so I got you." She explains before continuing, "You were drunk, and wouldn't shut up so I got you a slushie. Then laid you down here."

"Oh, I'm sorry," I said looking at the ground.

She lets out a small laugh before sitting beside me, "It's okay, but you do need to leave before my parents and Ellie see you. Especially if Samuel sees you."

I nodded my head, "Where is my shirt?"

"I washed it for you." She says as she gets up to grab it, "Here."

She hands me my shirt, I grab it out of her hand. I noticed the engagement ring on her finger, which immediately reminds me that she was getting married tomorrow.

There was an awkward silence between us as I put on my shirt, suddenly the door swung open and Eliana ran in with a stuffed animal in her hand.

She turns her head and looks at me, then she looks at Petra, then back at me again.

"Mommy, why is Xavier here?" She asked as she looked at me with a confused look on her face.

Just as Petra was about to answer, an older woman walked into the room with a bag of candy in her hand, "Elle, we got candy."

She stops in her tracks as her eyes land on me, she looks at Petra and then back at me.

"Petra, why is there a man in your bed?" The woman asked, "And why is he so handsome."

"Mom.." Petra says as she shakes her head, "That's my boss."

That's Petra's Mom? She looks like she's in her early 30s or something. I wonder what kind of wrinkle cream she uses. Maybe I can give it to my Dad.

"Oh, your boss? He is so handsome, way better looking than the Samuel you're marrying." She says as she walks over to me with a smile.

Petra rolls her eyes, "Can you stop, and go? I didn't want you to meet him anyway."

"Formally introduce me to your boss, Petra." She demands as she steps more into the room.

Petra exhales sharply, "Mom, this is Xavier, and Xavier this is my mom Alejandra."
