57|| Six Months

"Momma, can you hold this for me?" Ellie asks while she hands me her juice box.

I smiled before nodding my head, "Of course Ellie bear, are you done eating?"

"Yes, I want to play in the pool with Damien and Uncle Tristian." She says as she looks at the pool, she hugs me before running towards the pool.

I shake my head as I let out a small laugh, I walk over to where Kylie is sitting in the lounge chair in her swimsuit. Her stomach has gotten huge since the Ball, especially since she's pregnant with twins. Her belly is ten times bigger than mine.

I sat down beside her and I placed my hands on my stomach, just as one of the twins started kicking, making me smile down at my belly.

I glanced down at my engagement ring as it was sparkling in the sun, it was a beautiful summer afternoon. But it was very hot, so everyone decided to have a pool day outside. Kylie was eating a plate of strawberries and grapes just before Elijah walked out with a big plate of chicken wings for her.

"Oh my goodness, my wings," Kylie exclaims as she takes the plate out of his hand.

"Those were mine," Elijah tells her, causing her to glare at him.

"They're mine now Elijah." She sneered as she began to take a bite out of it, "So good."

Elijah laughs as he places a kiss on her forehead before walking back into the house, a few moments pass by before Xavier comes walking out of the house.

"What are you up to, love?" He asks, before placing a kiss on my cheek and sitting down beside me.

"Watching the kids drown Tristian," I respond, still keeping my gaze on them.

Xavier looks at the pool as Eliana continues to push Tristian underwater while Damien is cheering her on, he looks like he's struggling over there.

Suddenly, Derek and Carlos run out of the house and jump into the pool creating a big splash as it hits Kylie who was halfway done with the plate of chicken wings.

"What the hell?" She yelled as she was now covered in water, "You guys got my chicken wings wet!"

"Sorry Ky, it was Derek's big ass who made the splash." Carlos accused Derek of pointing a finger at him.

"Lies," Derek says as he dives under the water.

Xavier rolls his eyes before placing his hand on my stomach, gently rubbing it, "How is my beautiful baby boy and girl doing?"

At that moment the sound of Xavier's voice, both of the twins start kicking. I watch as a big smile comes across his face as he rests his hands on my stomach.

About six months ago, the death of Kennedy and the death of my ex-husband Tobias occurred. But strangely after the Mafia ball happened, the wife of Ricki Gambino the boss of the Greek Mafia disappeared along with their eleven-year-old son.

It's sad, I hope she made it home safely along with their son.

These past six months have been the best, I took an online college course which I got done pretty quickly since I went to one of the best private schools in the country.

Shortly I'll be starting nursing school, I am currently waiting to hear back from the school.

We so far have picked out a few names for our babies, it was hard at first since we disagreed on a bunch of names but then we came to an agreement.

A few moments pass by and we make our way back inside, Xavier and I head into the living room and my eyes land on Dr. Brown who is prepping things for a check-up.
