Chapter 8- Contact

" Son of a bitch..... Damnnnn it.... Fuck ....fuck " Samuel was so angry.

" Ash.. as soon as he comes out, shoot him. " He gave an order to Ashton

Ashton shook his head and pointed his gun towards the door.

" SOTA Shadow come in... This is SOTA Delta 113.... Over " he called Sara

" This is Delta Shadow 341.... What happened ?... Over " she replied

" He played us... He went in..... There was no access card.... You were right.. Over " Samuel explained what happened

" I told you... What do you want me to do ?..... Over " She asked

" Nothing..... Take Rayley back to the camp..... There is nothing we can do here.... This thing in impenetrable.....Over " Samuel replied

" Copy that... Shadow over and out... " She replied and started walking with Rayley.

The two were trying to find a tunnel. However, they failed to locate one. Meanwhile Wayne was preparing to leave.

" How much time do we have ? " He asked NOVA

" Six to eight minutes based on their speed. " NOVA replied

" Prepare FALCON, and activate the Drones. " He ordered

Ashton was still trying to open the door. He tried different ways but failed everytime. Then the door opened. He walked back and pointed his gun towards the door. So has Samuel.

Wayne came out through the door. He was wearing some type of armor. Samuel and Ashton pointed their gun at him.

" On your knees....." Samuel shouted.

" Let me go... Sara and Rayley are in grave danger. I'm the only person who can help them. " said Wayne.

" Shut the fuck up. No more lies. Hands up and on your knees now. " Samuel demanded again.

" I'm sorry....." He paused for a while " NOVA target them " said Wayne.

All of a sudden, two drones came out of the ship.

" Targets locked " said NOVA through the ear piece.

" I don't want to do it, but I will. There's only one option. Those things can kill you even before you can move. Now, lower your weapons and let me leave. " Said Wayne

" Sam... Do it.. " Said Ashton

Samuel looked at Wayne and Ashton and reluctantly dropped the weapon. After that, Wayne went to the right. Suddenly a big door opened. Samuel and Ashton saw something in there, it looked like a jet pack with wings. Wayne went over there, strapped it into his armor. He turned it on. It suddenly rose in the sky and rapidly flew away.

Sara sought a way to reach the camp, all the tunnels near them were blocked by debris. She checked the map, the next clear path to the camp through the tunnel is about 0.5 miles away.

" You hungry ? " She asked Rayley

" A little " Rayley replied.

" Here " Sara gave her some chocolates

Rayley took them and started to unwrap them.

" Can you tell me something ? " She asked Sara while eating the chocolate.

" Sure ! " Sara replied

" Is Poppy dead ? " Rayley asked

Sara didn't know what to say. She paused for a moment.
