Chapter 9- No More Lies

Samuel and Ashton returned to the camp. They heard what went down. Jackson is already reached the camp. And he was aware of what happened. Everyone was waiting for them to arrive: Sarah, Rayley and Wayne.

Everyone knows Wayne killed a monster. They never knew anyone who faced it and survived one more day. But that's all they knew; NEW GUY KILLED A MONSTER

Sara, Rayley and Wayne went into the tunnels. Sara is injured. Nothing serious, just a twisted angle. She was walking really slowly. With a torch in hand, Rayley led the way.

" I can help you " said Wayne

" I don't need you to help me, I can take care of myself." Said Sara

" Would you at least lower your gun?" Don't point it on my face. I'm not going anywhere " Said Wayne

" Says the guy who lies in every second. You won't escape this time " Said Sara

"Haha.... Really ? Are you sure you can stop me? If I want to escape, I will. " said Wayne

" Then why aren't you trying ? " asked Sara.

" What if I do ? In a flash, I can take your gun, and who will follow me if I run ? Rayley ?" Asked Wayne

" I can chase you, I'm fast " said Rayley

" Walk " Sara told Rayley

The camp was still about a mile away. Suddenly Wayne heard a sound from behind. Sara slipped and fell after hitting something. He looked at her and began to walk again. Rayley went back and tried to help her.

" Come here " Rayley called Wayne

" Why? She doesn't need my help " said Wayne

Sara looked at Wayne and started to walk again. Rayley tried to help her.

" It's ok Ray, I can walk. " Said Sara.

" Uhhhh.... This is going to be a long boring walk " Rayley murmured.

They walked for an hour, now they are at the ladder. Sara tried to climb. But she couldn't. And she heard Wayne laughing.

" Ray, climb up and find someone. " said Sara

Rayley climbed the ladder and banged on the door. Someone opened it from the inside. Rayley went in. Then a few minutes later, Sara saw somebody come down the ladder. It was Samuel. The whole time, Wayne and Sara never said a word to each other..

" You alright ? " Asked Samuel

" Yeah, it's nothing serious " Sara replied

" Send down a rope " Samuel told someone at the top.

A rope came down and sara tied the rope around her waist and started to climb. Samuel looked at Wayne.

" Climb " he said

Wayne didn't say anything, he started to climb. Everyone reached the top. They went into the camp

" Let's go, Caitlin is waiting for you. " Samuel told Wayne

They began walking toward the other side of the hallway. Everyone was silent. Everyone wanted to see the brave man who killed the monster. Wayne saw Rayley waving at him. Ashton and Jackson followed them. Samuel closed the door behind them as they entered the room.

Caitlin was already inside the room. " So ? " She looked at Wayne.

They heard someone knocking on the door. Jackson opend it, it was Sara.
