" What do you mean ?" Caitlin looked at him
" I will tell you everything, but now you must listen to me. Close every door and every entrance to this place. Don't let anyone out until I say so. " He replied
Caitlin looked at Samuel, he knew what to do.
" Come in everyone.... This is SOTA Delta.... Everyone come back to the base ASAP... Stop doing whatever you're doing and come back. Use the tunnels only, we will be closing all other entrances. " He gave the message to everyone through the radio
" Check the entrances, make sure everything is closed. " he told Jackson
" It's starting to scare people, they heard everything that happened outside. " Ashton told Caitlin
" We need to tell them. " he countinued
" We can't !! We don't want to spook them more than we already have. " Caitlin replied
" So what are you suggesting ?" Ashton looked at Caitlin
She turned to Sara " Tell them some sort of lie, something they believe. Don't try to deny anything they already know. "
" What do you mean ? " Sara didn't understand what Caitlin meant
" Leave that to me, I know what to do." Wayne told Caitlin
" Ofcourse. " Sara said sarcastically
" You can't go alone, they don't trust you like they trust her. " said Caitlin
" You both go and talk to them. But, make sure that you have an understanding. " Caitlin told them
" Ok " said Sara . It was evident from her face that she was angry with him. After some hesitation, she agreed. They both left together.
" What do we do now ?" Caitlin looked at Ashton and Samuel
They stood there and said nothing. And couple of minutes later they went to the hall.
Caitlin sat on a chair and took her a picture from her pocket and stared at it " What now ?.. "
" So what do we tell them? " Sara asked Wayne in the hallway
" Leave that to me, I'm good at lying. " said Wayne
" Oh you don't say. " Sara replied sarcastically acting surprised
They went to the hall room
" Everyone please listen. " said Sara
They all looked at her.
" You all heard what happened there. We had a close encounter with one of those creatures. And we killed it, he killed it." She pointed her finger towards Wayne. She didn't know what to tell them after that. She looked at Wayne.
" But it's not what you think, the one that attacked us was just a baby, it got seperated from others and as you know they can't survive in the sun light. It was weak and injured. It's skin was soft. Their skin get harder while they grow." Said Wayne
" We were lucky it was just a baby. But we can't go out for few days cause they will come looking for it ; it's parents. They don't care about the sun. They will search for the baby until they die. And also they will be more aggressive." he continued
" How do you know all this? " A voice is heard from the crowd
" From my old camp. Same thing happened there and few of my people died fighting the parents. " Wayne replied
