"Are bacha ab toh uth ja. It's 9'o clock already. Practice nahi karna kya?"(C'mon kiddo wake up. Don't you wanna practice?)an exasperated Mahi could be seen shaking a certain Ro in hopes of waking him up.
"Kal shaam ko zindagi bhar ke liye practice kar liya tha maine. Aur subhe ke 9 baje uthna paap hota h. Sirf ajeeb log hi is time pe uthte h"(I've practiced enough for a life time yesterday. And who wakes up at 9 in the morning? It's too early to be up - it should be considered a sin to be up at this godforsaken hour.) Ro grumbled from under the blanket.
"Oye overactor, aise baat kar raha hai jaise tujhe subhe ke 4 baje uthadiya maine. Is duniya ke sab tho uth gaye bas tu aur tere yuvi pa khumbkaran ke bhakt bane pade ho. Uth ja jaldi."(You're talking as if I woke you up at 4 am. Everyone in this world are already bustling about... Just you and your Yuvi pa are sleeping like logs.) Mahi said rolling his eyes at the everyday drama.
"Par bhaiiiii 9 baje bahut jaldi h practice ke liye"(9 is too early for practice)Ro whined.
"Achcha? Toh tu bata tere liye konsa time bahut jaldi nahi hai? Mai dada se boldunga tere liye us time alag practice rakhe phir"(Oh really, tell me what time is not too early for you. I'll tell dada to arrange practice session for you at that time.)
Ro just pouted at Mahi bhai knowing that dada would not budge but will also give him an earful about his sleeping habits.
Mahi bhai finally won the tug of blanket and successfully pulled it away from Ro.
"Tu jaldi se fresh hoja us time tak me yuvi ko uthake lata hu"(You freshen up fast. I'll wake Yuvi up by that time)
Saying that Mahi bhai went to Yuvi pa's room only to see him sleeping wrapped in his blanket in a cucoon.
"Yuvi uth ja mere bhai"(Wake up mate) Mahi yelled shaking Yuvi vigorously.
"Bas 5 minutes aur" (Gimme 5 more minutes ) Yuvi said, turned around and slept again. After a few more minutes of fruitless shaking and yelling, Mahi eventually just poured a jug of water which was sitting on the table on Yuvi.
"Abe aise paani kaun dalta he sote hue insaan par."(Who pours water like this in a sleeping person?) Yuvi asked grumpily.
"Main dalta hu. Chal ab jaldi se. Pehle se hi practice ke liye late h hum"(Me off course. Hurry up now. We're already late for practice)
"Dost ke naam me dushman h tu mera. Agar dost hi aise ho toh dushmano ki kya zarurat. Achi khasi neend kharab kar di"(You are literally an enemy in the name of friend. Why does anyone need an enemy when they have a friend like you? You just ruined my sleep.)
"Abe oh apna drama band kar. Fresh hoke neeche aajaiyo jaldi aur aate vakt hamare chhote khumbhkaran ko bhi lekar aana. Kya pata phirse sone chala gaya ho. Me dada ke paas ja raha hu"(Stop with your drama already. Come down fast and don't forget to bring Ro down to. I'm going to Dada) Mahi said as he left the room with a fond smile. These two were his life. They
were the ones he had sworn to protect. He did not want to lose any more people after last time.
