"You know I want you, but I can't have you now"

The house was buzzing with hustles. Clattering of utensils, patters of footsteps, muters of people contributed great to give the house a legit structure of a typical wedding house. The house was packed with people. As all sat to eat at the dining room, the maids clean the rest of the house. Everybody was in a rush. They wanted their work to be done at time or more best to be done early than expected. Irum was frantic as she couldn't just sit at one place. It was already ten in the morning. She has been awake since seven and was completing her house chores.

No matter, how early you wake up to do anything on time, something just has to be damage or undone. Irum was currently talking to the caterers and was telling them again and again to deliver the food at time. She wanted everything to be perfect. After all it was her only daughter's Nikkah and Mehndi. She wanted to give her the best wedding. After talking with the caterers she called the decoration workers. She was asking them about their arrival.

The Nikkah was supposed to be held at Asar while at night the combine mehndi function will be held. As Sohail and Hareem will be declared Husband and Wife after the Nikkah, it was futile to held a separate mehndi function. Both of them can get to spend a day together to know each other and to remove awkwardness to be able to be comfortable to enjoy the rest of the functions. Warisha tapped Irum's shoulder and told her

"Bhabhi aram karlen thora. Kabse kaam Mae hi lagi huwi ha"
(Bhabhi rest for a while. You are working since so long)

Irum sat down on one of the chairs and rubbed her temples. She muttered

"I'm worried Warisha. What if something go wrong? My mind can't stop but wonder what will everyone think that I can't give my daughter a good wedding".

Warisha smiled as she totally understand Irum's feelings. Her brother, Raza was a very supportive husband and always stood like a rock whenever Irum or any other family member were facing a problem. She was missing her brother a lot then how can she not know how Irum is feeling. She knows that Irum is missing her husband. It is a big day. Their daughter is marrying today and she wants nothing else but perfection for her. Deep down she wishes that Raza was here but he can't be and he can never be here anymore. Warisha patted her shoulder and told her softly

"Don't be worried. Hareem is our daughter too. Everything will be as good as you imagined. You are doing your best. Let the rest be to Allah".

Irum nodded but couldn't help the tears that left her eyes unwanted

"I wish Raza was here. He would be so excited for this day."

Warisha couldn't help but teared up too. Indeed Raza would have been so proud to see his daughter getting married and that too in a good family. Every parent wishes to see their child getting married. It is a very big day for both of the parents and children. The children start their new life and the parents can never be too happy than seeing their children happy and content. They wish the best for them. Irum is doing her best but how can she not miss her husband and her daughter's father? But she cannot complain. He is in a better place. Allah has planned the events like that and it is the best . She can never be able to forget him and she doesn't has too but she has to move on.

Rohaan was passing by the living room when he saw his mother and Mami crying softly. He quietly walked up to them and said

"Come on ladies don't cry. You both have to look the best today."

Both of them chuckled at his attempt to make them laugh. He sat beside Irum and said

"Don't worry Mami. Everything will be done at time. I promise I will make sure that nothing is out of place and that Hareem gets nothing but the best."
