"Sometimes it feels better
Not to talk. At all
About anything to anyone"

Rohaan's POV:
I hummed as the client was telling me about the case. I received a call from him yesterday and he told me he got some really necessary information to share with me. He gave each and every detail of the case which could be beneficial for the trial. At last hearing him conclude everything I clasped my hand in front of the desk and told him
"I appreciate you for coming up with this important information, but the biggest question is are you ready to give your testimony in the court?" He looked a little hesitant as I asked him. It's always hard to convince people to testify. With cases of fraud it's highly likely that there's a chance of threats. But his testimony will come as a great blow to the other party and the case will be in our hands. After a pause of few minutes he finally sighed and said
"I will. I surely will". With a smile I shook his hand and said
"Don't worry Mr. Harrison I'll give my all to win your case". He nodded his head at me and left. I sighed and fell back on the chair. If I say that this case is the most important or hardest till now I won't be wrong. The case is tiring me a lot, but it's still a very important case. Mr. Harrison is the famous elite class businessman. Recently his company suffered a major blow which caused great loss to him and his company. His reputation was torn and he was on the verge of bankrupting untill he decided to hire a lawyer as he sensed something fishy among his employees and it was the truth that one of his employees contributed with the other company to banish Mr. Harrison. After further investigating it was revealed that the other company was using the company for a facade. Thier real business was smuggling drugs and human trafficking. It's real cruelity and I don't understand how people can stoop this low but then again it wasn't something that I hadn't encountered. It's only a piece of cake to what I have encountered with in the last three years. This case is a piece of cake, a pin in the grains of sand. But it is important as Mr. Harrison is an elite class businessman. His reputation has been tarnished very badly and he needed to clear his name. I was assigned to this case by my head. He's lately been very fond of me. I have worked very hard in the last three years as I took each step at a time. It's wasn't easy for me to do that. I was new to the cause, but my determination was strong. I was mentally prepared for all the pains and sleepless nights I have to go through to reach my level of success. I took a great sigh and rested my head against the back of the chair. Last three years....they were the life changing yet very needed break years of my life. I still remember the first day I came to London. Everything was so new and I was feeling very homesick. I missed my family a lot. Of course it was very hard for me to leave my family behind. I haven't been back in those three years. I started my life here on a new pattern. Mama cried at the airport when I was leaving. I still can't forget the look in her eyes. She looked so tired and sad. i felt guilty to made her feel like that. I wanted to hug her in that moment and never let go, but I couldn't do anything. I don't know what is happening miles away in Pakistan after I left. I left and never turned back..at least yet. I don't know how she is. She must be living a really happy life. Her husband is a nice man. He must be taking care of her. I just hope she is living a happy and content life. I wish to see her again. I want to see her just once to really know how she is. A knock at the door disturbed my train of thoughts as I said
"Come in". Neha's head popped in as she made her way inside. I sat up straight and asked
"Looks like you're done with your work?" She beamed and nodded her head and glanced at her watch. Clicking her tongue she said
"You forgot it's time for lunch. Let's have lunch". I nodded my head and left with her. Neha is my colleague and she is a very competent lawyer. She works hard, she is smart and witty and it's impossible to beat her. She masters in family cases and her win rate is almost hundred percent. She is known for her tricks and surprises she gives in court. She's a good friend of mine, but I know my limits. I know that I'm not allowed to be so close to her and I think she respects that too. We are just really good colleagues and I never seen her anything beyond that. I just have to make my way through my career and all I need is focus.
