The Mirza House was bustling with chatters and laughs shared by the members inside. The enchantment of the wedding was still new and the newly wedded couple was welcome warmly. Everybody was happy to see them as husband and wife. They look just so perfect like pieces into puzzles. Each and every member of the family was having thier conversation about the grand wedding and the way they both fit together. Irum's motherly heart was aching to hold her daughter in her arms again. It's only been a day since her rukhsati. But no matter how little time passes, she'll still carve for her daughter. Hareem was feeling the same. She misses her mother a lot. After all Warisha and Dilawar left no stone unturned to make her feel like no less than Hafsa, but Hareem still missed her mother and that can't be something someone else can fill. A mother's love can never filled by any other person. As soon as the door was opened Hareem took a quick walk to find her mother. As soon as both the daughter -mother saw each other they held each other in their embrace for the longest of time. Hareem cried a little as she felt very emotional and vulnerable after seeing her mother, after being held in her arms. Irum pulled away after a bit while and Hareem was then pulled into hugs by everyone else. Right now, after all the hugging and kissing session they all were seated at the dining table after their dinner. Hareem was waiting for Rohaan as he and Rohaan were upstairs. Saniya leaned in closer and whispered in her ear
"Don't worry, areha ha Rohaan".
(Rohaan is coming)
Hareem's head snapped toward her direction and Saniya just snickered. She heard footsteps behind her and a chair being pulled had her move her heads towards the sound. Rohaan sat down on it and smiled at her. She reciprocated it back. Everybody started their dinner and Rohaan filled her plate first after making his plate. Irum noticed it and her heart was at ease that she married her daughter to a good man who'll take care of her. Hareem started eating, but she was feeling very nervous. His mere presence beside her was causing butterflies in her stomach. She didn't know that she was just playing with her spoon when she heard his husky voice just right above her ear
"Why aren't you eating?" She whipped her head toward him and he gestures toward her plate. She gulped and said
"I'm eating". She saw Saniya giving her glances, so she took a huge gulp of water. She side glanced at him and he was busy his eating his food.
How generous of you!
She thought. She took a deep breath and started eating her food.

Hareem was inside the kitchen with Saniya and they both were taking care of the dishes. Of course, Hareem was not allowed to do any work. Hareem asked her
"Where is Zaira?". Saniya told her
"She's at her friend for studies. She started her university from today". Hareem nodded. Saniya looked at her and asked her
"I don't have to ask it, but are you happy Hareem? I know it's a bit early to ask it but tell me the truth". Hareem could see that the concern in her eyes. It was raw and pure. Of course both the girls shared the bond of the sisters. They were together in everything. Hareem held her hands and said
"I'm fine Saniya. You know Phupho and Dilawar uncle made me feel like his daughter and Hafsa treats me just as her sister". Saniya smiled and looked at her hands and asked in almost a teasing way
"You didn't tell me about your husband? How does he treat you?". Hareem's cheek went red and she could feel heat creeping up her neck. She coughed and said
"It's just..he bought them when we were... coming here". Saniya chuckled at her flustered at her state, but she heard Ambreen's voice
"Saniya could go and call Zaira. She's out for so long". Saniya nodded and left the kitchen. Hareem stood there and heard Ambreen asking her
"Your gajre looks so good. Rohaan bought them?" Hareem nodded her head. She didn't know what else to say. Ambreen was never really friendly with her mother and her. Ambreen always had some rude vibes for them. She never really liked them. Ambreen didn't say anything else for a while and then said
"You look happy. May your happiness last long. And nothing happens like the last time". Hareem's movements stopped after hearing her say that. Of course she didn't say anything that could pin point that she was ill wishing for her. Just the tone she used was just something she can't forget. She seemed like she was taunting her for being happy. She looked at her hands and suddenly the Gajre were irritating her. She excused herself and started walking toward her mother when she collided with a hard chest. She was instantly balanced as two strong arms wrapped around her waist. She didn't look up because she knew he'll know that something was wrong. She felt his fingers under her chin as he lifted her face up. He asked
"Are you okay? What happened?" His concern filled eyes were making it difficult for her to stay stable. She wanted to burst into tears right then and here. He held her face with his hand tenderly and asked again
"Hareem kiya huwa ha? Are you feeling unwell?"
(Hareem what happened)
Before she could say anything, she heard her mother saying
"I think you both should go home now. It's quite late". Hareem looked at her mother and her mother smiled assuringly at her. Irum knew what happened. She could easily our two and twos together after seeing Ambreen leaving the kitchen after her daughter. Hareem hugged her and Irum said softly in her ear
"Don't take it to heart". She smiled at her and then Rohaan bade farewell to all.
