"And with you life more beautiful"

Rohaan:
I groaned when the sunlight hit my face. Scrutinizing my eyes to the light, I sat up on the bed running a hand down my hairs. I yawned and take a look at the room. The other side was empty. I frowned.
Where is she? She got real angry when I left her.
I looked at the time and it was close to ten. I wonder why she's up so early because her side of bed was now get. I got up and went to the washroom to get cleaned and changed. Today was my day off. I climbed down the stairs and heard the noises of cutlery.
She's definitely in the kitchen!
I entered in the kitchen and there stood my wife against the counter brewing something. I took a look at her. She was wearing one of my hoodies. I smiled at her cheekiness. She never admits it, but she secretly like the comfort of my clothes as they are too big for her and she almost got lost in them. Right now she looks like a penguin wrapped in furs. I chuckle at the thought and she turned around. I gave her a wink and she grinned and said
"Hi". Waving her hand at me. I matched her distance with two long steps and asked her
"What are you doing?" She took out a spoon and scooped some liquid into it. I took a sip and commented
"It's good, but what it is?" She put the spoon back and said
"I'm making chicken pulou for lunch along with some kofta curry". I nodded. I'm excited for today's menu. I then asked her
"What's special occasion though?" She looked at me and then sighed. I furrowed my brows and said
"What?" She said to me then
"Saniya and Hamdan Bhai are coming over today. How can you forget?" I smiled sheepishly at her, but she turned around and poured out teas into cups. On weekends, I like to drink tea and some desi breakfast on weekends. She gave the tray to me and take out freshly done parathas and omelette. I took her hand in mine and take her to the dining table. We started eating breakfast when she asked me
"What should I make for dessert?" She was looking at me intently. I gave it some thought and then said
"Make some trifle or something. I'll help you with it". She grinned and we continues with our breakfast.

"Ahhh it's been so long since we last met". Saniya exclaimed as soon as Hareem opened the door. The cousins were meeting after a span of almost a year. Hareem hugged her back with equal excitement while I and Hamdan greeted each other. He looked at me and commented
"So glad to see you finally settled". I nodded at him because he played a major part in experiencing my real feelings for her. He always wanted to have me settled. We all moved to the living room and Hareem got up to bring water for both. Saniya looked at me and said
"Aren't you a stranger". She was being sarcastic. I sighed and said
"I was busy". Just then Hareem entered the kitchen and Saniya said to Hareem
"Does he even has time for you?" She sat down next to me and I placed my hand on the back of her couch and said to Saniya
"Oh I've got plenty of time for my wife". My wife nudged me in the ribs. Saniya smiled widely at Hareem and I looked at Hamdan for some help, but he decided to shrug. I groaned, but then we all started to catch up onto things we missed.

I and Hamdan were sitting at the dining table as both of our wives were in the kitchen taking care of the lunch. Hamdan looked at me and smirked. I rolled my eyes and asked
"What?" He folded his arms across his chest and said
"Man you're whipped". I rolled my eyes yet again, but I can't deny him. I'm whipped for my wife. I feel uneasy when she's not beside me. I feel like I'm losing a part of me when she's not with me, when she's not in front of my eyes laughing. I hate to see her cry or sad. She only deserves happiness and love. Love...simple word with many strange emotions. I can't say that I'm not falling in love with her. Every little thing she does, be it smiling, laughing or just shying away is making me fall harder for her each second and each day. Her small smile brightened up my day and her quiet whisper calms my soul. It's like I've been lost without her. I didn't realize that I was smiling like a fool until I heard the annoying voice of my best friend. I rolled my eyes at him and went in the kitchen.
I fear my eyes will roll to the back of my head from rolling them so much
I peaked inside and saw my wife and my cousin talking with each other. Saniya was the first to notice me and said
"Ahh can't stay away from your wife, can you?" I walked toward Hareem and wrapped my arms around her shoulder. Hamdan too followed me inside and stood beside his wife. He decided to jump in the conversation and teased
"He's not here for his wife. He's just hungry". Hareem chuckled beside me and I said to her
"He's lying. Maybe I'm a little hungry". She nudged me in the ribs and Saniya rushed us out of the kitchen and said
"Food is coming in two". True their words, they both came with the dishes and we stood up to help them. After we brought everything we started eating. Saniya immediately praised Hareem for her food
"It's heaven Hareem. You cook so good". She shyly thanked her and I squeezed her hand to let her know that I liked her food too. She smiled at all of us and we began eating as we were hungry.
Yeah I admit I was hungry.
