We arrived at Alexis's house and what can I say it is one big ass house. The front yard is green with some flowers and a tree. Then the house itself has a white exterior and a black garage door and front door that stands out. We got out of the car and a minute, or two later Gracie showed up just as we were about to walk in the door.

"Okay we have exactly 1 hour to get ready before we head to the game," Gracie says while catching her breath from getting out of her car and sprinting towards us.

"That's good do you know what the theme is because I forget," Alexis says while unlocking her front door.

I don't think her parents were home because one she had the door locked and two it was silent when we walked in. Alexis set her stuff down and we walked up to her room. It was very pretty and clean. A room with white walls and a white bed that had blue pillows and a brown teddy bear in front of them.

"Yes, it is jersey themed, so I grabbed three of Blake's jerseys that either don't fit him or are too old," Gracie says while heading me and Alexis a jersey.

It was a red jersey with the number 34 on it in white lettering and then Sanchez above it.

We all put on our jerseys, and I grabbed some black spandex from Alexis's closet, lucky me that they fit perfectly. Gracie then decided to do my and Alexis's hair in two French braids along with a dark red eyeshadow makeup look from Alexis. While Gracie braided my hair Alexis did her makeup and she was quick with it. Then after Alexis was done, she did mine while Gracie finished up.

"OMG I am so excited to see everyone play, I normally don't get this excited but it's their rival," Alexis says while jumping and skipping around.

Alexis drove me here and Gracie took her car because she said that she would stay after to give Blake a ride home since her parents work late tonight. The real question is I wonder if Ace will show up tonight to support his best friend, but I don't expect him to be here because I don't think this fits his vibe.

We paid for our tickets and then went to the bleachers for our seats. These football games are not like the ones back in Ohio. These games here look more exciting like they take sports very seriously. The cheerleaders were out on the other side of the bleachers in front of us and they had some really good makeup and hair.

A few minutes went by, and the bleachers started to fill up quickly. Groups among groups of people came into the stands to get a seat. Who knew it would be this packed?

Once the crowd starts dying down, the football players come out from this thing of smoke/ mist. They wear red jerseys with their number in white, and white pants. Those pants sure will be dirty after this game ends. They huddle over to their coach while he is giving them instructions on what to do. They quickly do a cheer and then get positioned on the line.

The snap is officially made giving the ball to the QB which is number 34 Blake Sanchez. He looks for an open person but can't find one he is hesitant until number 23 is wide open he throws the football to him making a great pass. 23 catches the ball and runs down but is tackled by number 19 from the other team.

The team quickly huddles again and then breaks off onto the line. Once the snap is set off the wide receivers (number 8) from our team quickly started to sprint from the line away from the people and try to get open. Blake noticed that one of them is sprinting for his life he throws the ball and number 8 catches it. Everyone is on the edge of their seats hoping he makes it to the end.

Number 8 dodges and weaves people from left to right. He is 10 yards away sprinting for his life and he makes it TOUCHDOWN for the Phoenixes.

IT was finally halftime, and it was around 8:30 at night I told Alexis that I was going to walk home because I didn't feel like staying for the whole game even though we are winning 28 to 14.

I walk out of the stands trying to shove my way through, Being 5'4 does not help in these situations. I finally make it out of the stands and head towards the parking lot, but I stop to see a smoking Ace not that far ahead.

"You know smoking is bad for you," I say while walking up to him.

"Yeah, I know, but who cares," he says not even making eye contact with me.

"Fine ruin your lungs go right ahead," I say even though that sounded mean in the first place, but it needed to be said.

"I said nobody cares," he says while finally making eye contact. He looks up and I look at him it feels like he is staring right into my soul and finding my flaws and deep secrets. I finally break it by tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.

"What," I say. My cheeks are probably bright red, and my body is on fire right now.

"You're the new girl Mia right," he says with a nice soft tone with a smirk on his face.

"Yeah, I am but I need to get walking," I say just wanting to leave. I mean why did I talk to him in the first place?

"Wait your walking home, this late, and at night," He says and that soft tone that he spoke with before instantly turned more serious one.

"Yeah, I am," I say copying his same tone.

"No you shouldn't let me drive you, it's too dangerous," he says.

"Oh and your one to talk," I say while pointing to his cigarette.

"Okay will this make you feel better," he says while throwing the cigarette away. His breath did smell very potent of smoke, so he must have been doing this for a while.

"Yes, it does but you are still not driving me I can walk perfectly fine on my own," I say while starting to walk away from this conversation.

He instantly grabs onto my arm and says, "No you have to come with me." He started to walk toward his car, and he has a very tight grip on my arm. He's hurting me, I never expected this.

"Ace"

No answer.

"ACE stop your hurting me," I shout while trying to hold back the tears.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to," he says while letting go of my arm.

As I rub my arm a little, I looked at him and he looked like he was sorry. Like he never wanted to hurt me in the first place.

"Please let me take you home"

"Why, why should I"

"Because it's too dangerous for a girl like you to be walking around this late at night,"

"Okay fine," I say.

He unlocks his car and I get in on the passenger's side. We are off.

I try not to look at him too much, but I glance over now and then. Just quick ones. He has one hand on the top of the steering wheel and the other on the gear shifter. One hand had a few rings on it with a couple of different tattoos in a different language.

"Address," He says.

"Just turn into this upcoming neighborhood," I say surprised he even got here with me telling him.

"You live in this neighborhood," He asks with a puzzled look on his face.

"Yes, I do why," I ask.

"Because I live here as well," he says.

"Okay, well just turn here and it's the sixth house on the right," I say.

"Well it looks like that makes us neighbors," he says while giving me the basic fuck boy wink and smirk.

"Oh great," I say hoping he would receive the sarcastic attitude from me.

I hop out of his car slam the door and sprint into my house and upstairs to my room. How could I be living next to the worst person ever out of everyone in the whole world it's him. This is not going to be a good year for me that's for sure.
