It had been two hours since I got home. I got all my English homework done and used a math app to help me with math homework.

It was around six pm and mom wasn't home. I texted her and told her I would go out and get some milk and other things. If you know what I mean!

I slipped on my shoes and put on the hoodie I was wearing earlier today. It is a comfy hoodie though.

I grabbed my car keys and opened the front door, but just as I was about to walk out I was met with the biggest jerk in the entire world. Ace Sterling.

I knew that he was there but didn't bother to say anything to him. Instead, I walked right past him shutting the door behind me.

"So you are ignoring me now, huh," he says.

I keep walking. I open the car door, but just as I was about to hop in he grabs my arms and pulls me around to face him.

I don't say anything, I just look at him with... Well, not the nicest look.

"Mia," he says in his whisper voice.

No response.

"Mia," he says. This time it wasn't a whisper but a harsh tone. He gripped my arm tighter.

"What do you want Ace and will you please let go of me," I say. He does.

"Sorry, where are you headed," he asks.

"Outer space," I joke.

"Oh that seems fun, but really where are you headed," he asks.

"Well I was going to go to the store to get milk but then I got stopped by this big gorilla," I say.

"Oh really, well maybe this gorilla just wanted to join you on your adventure," he says with a chuckle.

"Now why would you want to come, Ace," I ask.

I am shocked he would want to join me. You know those people that you know don't like you but they still want to be around you because you look good, yeah that's what I'm feeling about Ace.

"Do I have to tell you why," he asks?

"Yes, you do now speak," I say.

"Well I am bored and want to do something fun," he says.

"Am I supposed to believe that," I say while looking at him? "Come on Ace dig a little deeper in that brain of yours and find the true reason" I step a little closer to him and put a finger in his chest.

He relaxes and lets out a sigh. "Look Mia, I can't tell you the real reason," he says.

"Ace."

"Mia, just trust me on this one," he says.

"Okay but don't laugh at what music I play," I say and hop into the car. He does the same on the passenger side.

We entered the market and Ace instantly grabbed a cart and told me to get in. Now I would have said no but I wanted to see where this would take us. Ace started bolting through the isles pushing me in front of him. I was a bit surprised at how fast he was pushing me and running. "Ace, what the hell!"

"Hey, don't ruin the fun. Now where too," he says.

"To the baking mix," I say.

"You got it, princess," he says and salutes me. He was still swerving all over the place and loads of people gave him looks. He never cared, he just kept on running.

Ace finally came to a stop when we were at the baking aisle. There were so many options, but I knew that I wanted something chocolatey. We agreed on chocolate chip cookies.

I told him where to next and he went to the milk isle, chip isle, and candy aisle. We got all sorts of things, well most of the stuff is what I was craving at the time. Now I have to go to the women's area, but I don't want Ace to come.

"Ace why don't you go wait in line," I say.

"Okay, why don't you come with me," he says.

"I would but I have to go get something," I say.

"And what is it you have to get," he asks stepping closer to me.

"None of your business," I say pushing him back.

"Okay suit yourself," he says, "I will wait right here."

"Great," I say and start walking. I grab some tampons, pads, and a nice scented bath bomb. I walk back over and Ace is waiting in line.

"So that's why you didn't want me to come," he says while pointing at my products.

"Yeah," I mumble.

"So it's that time of the month for you," he says.

"Yes," I say.

"So that is why you were being a little rude this morning," he says.

"Correct," I say and chuckle a bit.

We end the conversation there and start handing our stuff to the lady. I take my card out a give it to her, but my hand gets swatted away by Ace.

"What are you doing,"

"Paying, what does it look like I'm doing," he says while handing the lady his card.

"No, I won't let you," I say.

"Too late already done," he says with a smile on his face and the lady hands him his card back.

I let out a sigh and take two of the bags and ace grabs the rest.

It was pretty silent on the way home. Except for Ace punching me every time we saw a buggy on the road. Thankfully it was only a light punch.

"Thank you for coming with me and not killing me," I say while parking the car.

"No problem," he says. We both hop out of the car and walk to the door.

I stop for a second before opening it "Ace go home."

"What no, I want to help make some cookies," he says and takes my keys, and walks right into my house.

Well, this should be fun!
