We got to Ace's house, and nobody was there

We got to Ace's house, and nobody was there. I texted the GC about 15 minutes ago and they said they will pull up, around midnight.

This "party" was not going to be a "party". It was just a casual get-together with friends. No alcohol, drugs, and couples eating each other's faces off. That wasn't going to happen here, only us 5 living life with no parents around. Of course, my mom was right next door, but we would use that for emergencies only.

"Welcome to my humble abode," Ace says while throwing his keys onto the counter.

Ace's house was very pretty on the outside but even more beautiful on the inside. I am very surprised it is not a mess because it is only Ace who lives here.

"Ace I have already been here before, you don't have to do the welcome part."

"I know but I haven't done it officially with you, so I wanted to," he says.

"Okay, well go on then."

"You got the kitchen, the living room, and then my room is upstairs."

"Yeah, I know where your room is," I reply with a little smirk on my face.

"Of course you do."

"So what do you wanna do while we wait for everyone to arrive."

"Change it will only take a second," he says.

It truly only took him a second to change out of his hoco clothes. He came back down in grey sweats and no shirt but was holding a black sweatshirt in his hand.

"Bathrooms over there if you wanna change out of your dress," he says while pointing to where the bathroom is.

"Thanks," I say and take the sweatshirt, and go to the bathroom to change. At least I was wearing spandex under my dress. You never know what could happen when you wear dresses or skirts.

Thanks for the tip, Mom!

"We are never ever ever getting back together," me and Alexis sing!

Everyone got here at midnight, and we just sat around until Ace brought out the karaoke machine. So we decided on that for that activity and have been doing it for the past 15 minutes.

"Stop, before my ears bleed," Blake says.

"What he said," Ace says.

"What you guys don't like our performance," Alexis whines.

"Yep," he says back.

"Well too bad," she says.

"Okay someone else's turn," I say while putting the microphone back and taking a seat next to Ace on the couch.

"No after that I think I won't be able to enjoy any music for at least 24 hours," Ace says.

"Oh, whatever I thought we were great," I say while giving Alexis a fist bump.
