Ace: Why are you avoiding me
Ace: What is going on Mia
(14 unread messages)

It has been a week since everything that happened with Ace. I have been avoiding him because I needed some time to process everything. Him leaving for Scotland, my dad coming back and the kiss too much has happened.

The weird thing is, is that the group seems pretty normal. I haven't told anyone about the situation that happened and I am pretty sure he didn't either.

Wonder Why?

I am currently cleaning my room, the balcony doors are open and I want this day to end.

Yep, you guessed today is the day my dad is coming. He should be here in about two hours. I don't believe that he is coming, but miracles can happen.

I don't even know why my mom invited him in the first place and whenever I brought up the question she ignored it.

He caused me so much pain and I don't want to go through it again. But he is my father and maybe this time will be different. Like I said before miracles can happen.

I step outside onto my balcony but run into a very hard chest.

Ow!

"Is your phone off," Ace says.

"No why," I say.

"Maybe you should look at it then."

"I have."

"So you are ignoring me."

"No."

"Don't lie to me, Mia."

"I'm not."

"Yes, you are."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"I am not doing this," I say. I don't need to be dealing with Ace right now. My focus needs to be on my father and him coming back.

I walk into my room stepping away from the conversation when a strong hand grips my wrist and pulls me back. Our bodies are inches away from one another. The smell of alcohol, and fruity cereal.

Leah!

My heartbeat begins to rise and I felt the memories of a week ago come right back to me. I look into his brown eyes. The eyes that I couldn't read, but held a strong sense of anger.

"You are ignoring me, why?" he asks.

I bite my lower lip because I couldn't think of an answer.

"I'm not," my voice came out as a whisper.

"Mhm," he let out. "You are bad at lying,"

"No no, I'm not," I say.

"Okay, then why the fidgeting," he says and glances down at my hands.
