The past couple of weeks have been stressful. Mia has been tutoring me nonstop because I have to retake the ACT one more time before graduation. I took it last year and didn't do so well. I wasn't thinking about retaking it but Mia insisted I did. I have a week before the test arrives, but for some reason this year the test came late for everyone.
Mia has been reviewing every single subject with me. Including chemistry, biology, English, algebra, geometry, and pre-calc. My head is about to blow up.
"Can we take a five-minute break, we have been at this for almost four hours."
"I was wondering when you were going to say that," she gives me a smirky smile. "How about we take a quick break and do something for a little."
"Do you have anything in mind?"
"Hmm not off the top of my head, but I'm gonna go use the restroom and when I come back you tell me if you have any ideas," Mia says.
"Sounds good."
She strolls off to the bathroom and this gives me the perfect time for me to do this. I leave a handwritten note on the counter for her to read and slip out the back door.

I come back from the restroom and Ace isn't here. I thought to myself that he just left to use the bathroom but instead, I found a handwritten note on the counter.

We have been studying for the past four hours we both deserve a break. Before this all happened I made reservations at the deluxe restaurant downtown. It is pretty fancy, so wear a nice dress. Don't bring any money because this is all on me tonight. I will pick you up at 7!! -Ace
I jump up and down and squeal so loud because I am so excited. Even though it's around five right now I think I should start getting ready!
