Adira Muntahina

I have been in bed for the last three days. Afsana and Nanny were always on my back if I even missed one meal.

In all of this, I still felt a sudden drop of heart. I couldn't send one message to Eshaan. Maira did talk with me but I couldn't even ask for her brother.

Today, I felt much better. I was walking and talking. My body was fine.

I was scrolling through my Instagram when I got a message from someone. I quickly sat up. Looked at the profile more carefully and then made sure this is the person I knew.

After three days, I smiled. I read his text.

"I'm back in town."

I text back. "MD. Rubel?"

"Yes, my panda." When he texted back I was already smiling over the moon.

"When did you come back? How come I wasn't informed about your visit?"

"Well, surprise."

"........."

"White cat is mad."

"......."

"Don't be mad , please 🥺🥺🥺🥺"

"How long are you planning to stay?"

"Until I make some money."

"Hahaha…someone is bankrupt again."

"Yeah ..I haven't had anything since last year. Please give me your blessing and some food to live on." I was laughing when he asked me for lunch.

"Where? I still have some punches to deliver."

"Chief Corner. 2 p.m. good?" I sent a thumbs up.

He was my only best friend. His family used to live beside us. We grew up together. After mom's death, he tried to cheer me up. But unfortunately his family shifted to a different state and I lost my friend.

Even we got connected through online but we didn't talk much because of our busy schedule. He mocked me when I said I'm studying psychology. Then I made fun of him, because he chose engineering. Now he was back in town.

I got ready quickly and ran downstairs.

"Where are you going?" Nanny asked me from the kitchen.

"I'm going to meet my friend. He was back in town after 10 years. I will be eating lunch with him. " I said and put on my shoes.

"Eat well!!" I drove my car out of the gate.

It took me 15 minutes to reach there. I entered the restaurant and looked around. He said he will be wearing black. I looked for a black dressed man.

When I got a text. "I'm at the left table."  He saw me. I turned to the left and saw the man smirking at me.

I smiled.

"Hey idiot!" He groaned because I smacked his head. "Leave my face. This is my charm."

I rolled at his obsession on his face.

"I'm going to have…" I was looking at the menu when he said, "Chicken Cheese Pizza." I wanted to change it but I was actually looking at that. So I gave in.

"See, I can read people." He smiled and fanned himself. "Shut up. It's my job . Your job is to build a drain line, do that." I threw the napkin on his face.

"It isn't my job."

"Or building toilets?" He again was cut. Rubel whimpered. But I laughed out loud. "Okay, tell me, what were your last semester marks?" He pressed his lips together in a tight way. "Let's order." He got up.
