CHAPTER 6

DAVE

There is a time in our life where we tend to forget how our life really goes because of the mere distraction that was given into our lives. Katulad na lang sa takbo ng buhay ko ngayon, minsan nakakalimutan ko na ang pakiramdam na gumising at maging isang normal na college student dahil sa mundong pinasok ko bilang isang college detective. Don't get me wrong because I definitely love what I am doing as a detective of Mysterium Clava and I know that when I first started, this was the dream of my life but there are times that I also miss waking up to be just a regular kid that wants to live her life to the fullest.

It has been a couple of hours since I got home from an exhausting journey at Mendez Institute. The case is not yet close but unveiling the identity of that mysterious Joker was none of our business because it is Grayson's problem to solve.

Sa totoo lang ay mayroon sa puso ko na gusto ko tulungan si Grayson sa kanyang investigation but then again, katulad nga ng sinabi ko kanina ay hindi na sakop ng Mysterium Clava ang laban niya sa Joker na ito.

I was on my bedroom havingl some of my peace—well, I can't actually say that I am having some peace dahil Algebra ang ni-re-review ko at ito talaga ang subject na sobrang kinaiinisan ko dahil mas na-s-stress ako dito kaysa sa isang investigation kami crime scene. As I was saying, I was reviewing for our Algebra exam tomorrow when I received a text message from my classmate Alexandra Watson.

CHIKA IS LIFE

ALEXANDRA: OMG! Dave, alam mo na ba ang chika?

ME: Ano na naman ang source of chismis mo? Wala ka na namang magawa.

ALEXANDRA: I just came from the faculty room ay may nakita akong isang super pogi na lalaking teacher! OMG! According sa sources ko ay siya daw ang possible na papalit kay Professor Julie Minakata!

ME: Nalaman mo ba kung ano ang pangalan?

ALEXANDRA: Hindi, eh. I forgot dahil nawala ako sa focus dahil sa sobrang pogi niya as in OMG!

ME: Wala kang k'wenta sumagap nang chismis! Kulang-kulang! HAHA.

I decided to turn off my phone to refrain myself from any distraction pero dahil sa naging chismis sa akin ni Alexandra ay bigla na lang ako naging malungkot. I am not sad because we are going to have a new teacher, in fact I don't even care kung sino ang magiging teacher namin basta mabait at maayos magturo. Ang kinalulungkot ko ay ang mabanggit niya si Professor Minakata dahil isang malaking tanong pa rin para sa akin kung ano ang naging dahilan kung bakit niya nagawang pagtangkaan ang buhay ko. I am not convinced that she did it on her own will because my instincts are telling me that there is someone pulling the strings and made her do what she did.

I don't who was controlling her, it could be the mafia or it could be L but one thing is for sure, I will investigate this matter and I will not stop until I find out the truth and give her the justice that she deserves. I know that she died through Mr. Seigmundo's bullets but I want to know what or who rather drove her to do what she did.

I will give you your justice Ms. Minakata. . . I promise you that.

"OMG! Ngayon na natin makikilala at malalaman kung magiging teacher natin si Professor Pogi!" I was at our classroom waiting for our newly assigned Algebra professor when Alexandra sat behind me. Sigurado akong umupo lang siya sa likod ko para chumismis at para hindi mahalata ang pagdaldal niya.
