CHRISTMAS SPECIAL: THE CHRISTMAS PLANNING

One of the most anticipated season of the year is Christmas where it was known as the season of love and giving and I am certain that as of this very moment, a lot of people has planned on how will they celebrate the holiday season.

How about me? Nah, I don't even have the slightest idea on how I will even celebrate it except for being with my Dad, David Antonio Velasco.

What to do? What to do? What to do? It has been a while since the last time that I felt so bored, siguro ay dahil bago ang Christmas break ay masyado ako naging busy sa mga cases na iniimbestigahan ko kasama ang Mysterium Clava and for the first time in a while, instead feeling at peace, I kinda felt lonely like something was missing.

What should I do? How can I make my Christmas season a lot more interesting? Hmm. . . 

Should I do it?

Will it work?

Will they agree?

Will they agree to have a little MYSTERIUM CLAVA CHRISTMAS PARTY?!

"Dave, anak! Breakfast is ready!" narinig ko ang isang tawag mula sa baba which I presume that was coming from the kitchen. It was my dad.

"Yes, dad! Pababa na po!" pasigaw ko ring sagot dito.

I immediately stood up from the bed I was lying from bago ako nagsuklay sa harap nang aking full body mirror at saka ako lumabas nang k'warto at dumiretso sa kusina kung saan inaayos ni daddy ang aming dining table.

Bigla na lang akong napa-ngiti noong nakita ko ang mga niluto ni daddy for breakfast. Fried rice, hotdog, fried egg, bacon at tig-isang mug nang hot chocolate drink.

When was the last time that we ate breakfast together? I don't know. I can't even recall dahil bago mag-Christmas break ay maaga akong umaalis sa bahay para dumaan sa aming clubroom to check for some updates regarding our investigations with LEGION, Celestial Mafia and Lorraine Corpus bago ako dumiretso sa aming classroom para sa aming regular classes kaya naman hindi na ako nagkakaroon nang pagkakataon kumain nang almusal sa bahay and it really feels good to seat on the same table with my father once again.

While we were in the middle of eating our delicious breakfast ay muling pumasok sa utak ko ang pina-plano ko para sa Mysterium Clava na Christmas Party but whatever I do or think, I can't just figure out how I can pull this off.

Hmm. . .

TAMA! I should ask him!

"Dad, p'wede ba magtanong?" I asked my dad who was busy finishing his breakfast.

"Hmm? Sure. Ano iyon, Dave?" sagot nito habang nginunguya ang pagkain sa bibig niya.

"Dad, have you ever organized a Christmas Party before?" I asked.

He swallowed the food on his mouth before he tried to recall anything from his memory chamber.

"Hmm. . . Siguro ay isang beses ay nag-organized ako nang isang Christmas Party noong mga panahon na nasa Italy pa kami nang mommy mo. Those were really one of the best memory that I had with your mom because that was also the event where I proposed to her." he said while smiling. "Bakit nga pala? Are you planning to organize a Christmas Party? For your club, perhaps?"

Ang galing! He already knew what was the question was for. As expected from my father!

"Yes, Dad! I am planning to organize a party for our club kaso hindi ko alam kung paano sila ma-co-convince lalo na iyong president at vice president namin dahil wala namang hilig sa mga party ang mga iyon, eh." I replied to my father before I drank my cup of chocolate drink.
