While eating breakfast together, Nan HuaiLin vaguely felt that Fei Cheng was acting a bit strange. He blushed slightly, his eyes were averted, and he didn’t say anything.

The two of them finished eating quietly, and Fei Cheng went to the office while Nan HuaiLin did the housework at home. He went to clean up Fei Cheng’s room first, and saw the underwear thrown on the floor. When he bent down to pick it up, he felt a dried mark. Of course he knew what it was, and he blushed silently. No wonder Fei Cheng was acting weird when he ate his breakfast.

Nan HuaiLin laughed again, inexplicably feeling that Fei Cheng was a bit innocent. Like a teenager who had just entered puberty.

It was only ten o’clock in the morning when he finished his chores.

Nan HuaiLin called Shan Mingen and asked to meet at the office. However, Shan Mingen said she had a meeting in the morning and asked him to meet her there at 2 p.m.

Nan HuaiLin had nothing else to do, so he went to his original apartment, called a courier and sent away the things sold on Idle Fish. Then he went to the management office to get out of the lease. The manager returned his deposit and half a month’s rent, and Nan HuaiLin handed back the keys. He left the place where he had lived for almost a year with only a small potted plant that he had kept for a long time, although he did not know the name of it.

When he returned to his new home, Nan HuaiLin put the potted plant on the balcony of his bedroom, casually fixed his lunch, and then lounged on the sofa in the living room to play with his phone.

He downloaded an app called Jinjiang Literature City, searched for the original novel Star Country and started reading it.

When he was in high school, he was addicted to reading novels. After he went to college, he started catching up on American dramas and brushing up on film, so he hadn’t read a novel in a long time.

The author’s writing was good. Still, the key was that the story was particularly strong, very compelling. He bought all the VIP chapters in one breath, then glanced at the time and saw it was already 1:30 p.m. so he got busy changing his clothes to go out.

It was only a ten minute walk to the company.

After knocking on the door and entering Shan Mingen’s office, Nan HuaiLin took a seat and then took the initiative to ask, “Sister Shan, is there any news on Star Country?”

“I also want to talk to you about that,” Shan Mingen said pleasantly, a 180 degree change in attitude compared to when they last met. “I received a call from the crew this morning, saying that the contract will be signed tomorrow, and the opening ceremony will be held next Monday. Then the shooting will officially start.”

Nan HuaiLin’s heart was overjoyed, but his face was silent and calm.

Shan Mingen found a thick pile of bound A4 paper in the pile of documents on the table and handed it over, “This is the script that was sent to me before. You should take the time to figure out the role and memorize the lines. The number two male’s lines are very large.”

Nan HuaiLin looked at the two big words on the cover, Star Country and felt his heart trembling.

Shan Mingen picked up her phone and called someone, “Xiao Zhu, come to my office.” After hanging up the phone, she looked at Nan HuaiLin from head to toe and said, “Your hair is a bit long, you need to cut it. Do you have something you can wear to the conference?”
