VENUS MARÍA CASTILLO only ever wanted to be happy. But it seemed as if every time she'd come even remotely close to happiness, the universe would snatch it away from her; whether it came in the form of her closest friends, or her relationships, or even her parents. But in 2002, Venus decided, "Fuck the universe". She was determined to find some form of long-lasting happiness and if that meant leaving hunting behind, then so be it.
And for three years Venus got what she wanted.
She was in her final year at Stanford University studying psychology, planning to use her degree (and past hunting training) to become an FBI agent. She had begun an amazing friendship and even mended an old one. Gone were the constant nightmares fueled by her past.
