The days passed in a blur, I've been going out lately to see what's happening, since I saw people are celebrating something,they are having a banner that announce event later at the palace.
"Isn't this too early to celebrate the crown prince birthday?" I softly whisper.
As I wandered through the bustling streets , the air hummed with anticipation, a palpable sense of somehow danger are building with each passing moment. It was clear that something significant was underway, though the reason for the early celebrations .
On the novel that I wrote someone will try to kill the King on the crown prince birthday making him the suspect of the attempt assasination.
Lost in thought, I couldn't shake the feeling of unease that gnawed at the edges of my consciousness. Memories of the novel I had written flooded my mind, each scene playing out in vivid detail as if warning me of the danger lurking just beneath the surface. Like why does everything seems so different yet everything that I wrote will still happen.
Suddenly, a commotion up ahead drew my attention, and I quickened my pace to see what was happening. As I approached, I saw a group of people gathered around a bulletin board.
"have you heard the crown prince agrees to celebrate his birthday earlier so he can prepare for the war on the north?" I heard some of the people said that's why I can't help but froze on my place.
I can't be hearing this wrong right?like on the novel the war between the north will take place after he fell inlove with lusi. It was supposed to happen month after his birthday.
While standing in the middle of the crowd, I didn't notice that they had already move to one side...
I only noticed this when I saw the horse approaching me while a man was riding it with a hidden face, he was only wearing a black long cloth as if to hide his identity.
Suddenly he put me on his horse while his horse was running fast, he just held my waist and the next thing I knew is that I was on the horse next to him already,I can feel his chest on my back.
"we see each other again hera" his deep voice was enough for me to confirm that this was really the crown prince.
"I... I didn't mean to be on that street I was just looking around." I said, my voice barely above a whisper as the wind whipped through my hair.
Nishimura Ni-ki's grip tightened around my waist, anchoring me to him as the horse thundered through the streets.
He put me down when we reach the palace, I didn't know why he bring me here with him.
"Oh, hera you're here!" i heard someone said from behind.
"Greetings,to the 2nd prince." I said before I bow.
Jake just smile at me and pat my head. It somehow remind me of my friend on my real world.
"why did you bring her here brother?" jake ask Ni-ki.
"Just saw her while going here so I just bring her with me." He coldly said before he looks at me.
"Right on time, Lusi is also here, the crown Prince soon to be fiance." Jake said as he smile widely.I don't know I know he was kind and all cause that's how I make his character but his smile somehow gives me a bad feeling.
I know what they are hiding, The crown prince was just blind to notice that there is a romantic feeling that was happening to his brother and soon to be fiance.
"This way my lady." Jake said before he guided me the way. Ni-ki on the other hand just walk beside me quietly, shouldn't he supposed to be happy to see the one that he like? I mean I might made him the villain but he loves Lusi, she is the only one whom he show his weak side , that's why she uses it in the end to him.
Upon reaching the dining hall, I saw Lusi, the female lead, standing gracefully amidst a sea of flower. Her beauty was undeniable, her presence captivating, and I couldn't help but to admire her beauty. Both men are looking at her. Well who wouldn't she is an epitome of beauty.
"Hi, it's nice to meet you." She happily said as she hold my hand.
"It's a plessure to meet you, I'm hera." I said while smiling.
Guess I can't avoid seeing and having interaction with them, but as long as I don't do anything to change the whole plot everything will be alright.
"Right, I brought a gift for you , your highness." Lusi said as she handed a box to the Ni-ki.
I totally forgot that they are celebrating his birthday earlier. Why did I even forget it, I heard it a lot on the street before I saw him.
The banquet will surely take place later before the night come. I still doesn't have anything give furthermore will the attempt of the king assassination will happen tonight just like what I wrote on my novel?
"Oh,I remember I still have something to do, I'll get going now your highness,and prince." I was about to walk when someone hold my wrist.
"I'll come with you until you walk out of the palace." I didn't say anything when I heard what Ni-ki has said , he just walk beside me.
We walked in silence, the weight of unspoken words hanging heavy between us. And yet, despite the gravity of the situation, there was a strange comfort in his presence, a silent understanding .
As we reached the palace gates, I turned to face Ni-ki. "Thank you," I murmured softly, "for accompanying me."
He just nodded as a response and walk back to the palace while I go on my own path to go to my home.
I needed to be prepared. Before the night come I should be ready. I didn't tell on the story who plan the assassination, that's why I also doesn't know who will attacked.
