Dear Diary,

Another day has passed, and we are on a path to the city. This seems pretty straightforward, but we have no idea what we may encounter. Just because the first beings we met were docile doesn't mean we should expect the same from everything.

Munin thinks we've traveled a few miles, something like five or six, but the thought of that being all we covered in a whole day has discouraged me beyond belief. It's been over a month since Lillith has held me in her arms; I want my girl back. The journey seems endless, and I am not sure if I have the strength to keep going. But I have to be strong. I have to keep moving forward.

We have set up camp for the night and are grateful that the weather has been good. The nights have been clear and warm, very comfortable. Any victory now is a big one, even things like the weather. We are in a strange land and don't know what lies ahead, but I have faith that everything will work out in the end.

While setting up camp for the night, we took inventory of our supplies. We believe we have enough nuts, bread, berries, water, and spell bottles to last three days at most. Not knowing anything about what lives or grows here, we don't know if anything is forageable; this may be a swamp, but it's already proved different. Sleep is necessary, but it feels like such a setback in time. We need to start rushing.

I am not sure if we will make it to the city, but I have hope. I hope we will get there and find a way to bring Lillith back. All I can do is take it one day at a time and hope for the best.

-Felicette
