Dear Diary,

It has been two long days since Crag passed. Our spirits are low, but we are still determined; we aren't giving up yet. We have spent the last days following an old brick path. As natural as everything we've come across has been, it feels strange to come across a manufactured path of this size. A few hours from the gate, the path started at the end of a plain dirt path. At the beginning of the bricks was a metal sign with large swirly cursive that read: Lust- 5 days.

We assume this is the name of the next town or area, and this seems to be a perfect path to follow, even if we have no idea where it leads. Woods still surround the path, but they seem to be getting more and more sparse the further we go. It has been quiet, relatively calm, and an effortless travel stretch.

As we walk, we talk about Crag and our girls and share fond memories of them. It's hard to believe Crag is gone and even harder to think how long we have been away from Lillith and Monet, but we know they would want us to keep going. The brick path has been a welcome distraction from our grief, and we've been able to focus on the journey ahead.

We've been walking for hours, and the sun is beginning to set. We've found a place to camp for the night, a clearing just off the path surrounded by trees. We already set up a fire and places to sleep. It will be a quiet evening, I'm sure.

The clearing is peaceful, and the stars are out in full force. It's been a while since I've seen so many stars. I can't help but wonder what life is like for the people who live in the towns and cities we're heading towards. Will there be people there? Will they be kind? Are there even more creatures?

Tomorrow, we'll continue following the brick path and see where it leads. Three more days to go, and we will finally discover where this path leads. Maybe there will be a better place to sleep! I long for a real bed with real blankets and pillows, and I'm sure Munin does, too.

For now, I'll get some rest and let the peacefulness of the clearing take over. I know tomorrow will bring new challenges, but I'm ready to face them head-on.
