Chapter 15

Phoenix's pov:

I took a rag and ran it over warm water.

I wiped off all the blood from Johnnie's face.

He seemed guilty, he was really silent. He just sat there while I cleaned him up. Not breaking the silence.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

"I- I'm okay I just ... can't believe what I just done." He said sighing.

"Just don't think about it right now, we are gonna be okay. I promise baby." I said wiping the blood off his hands.

He kissed my cheek.

"I love you to death." He said to me.

"Me too, till death do us part."

"Heh literally." He said.

I giggled.

"Im gonna go put your clothes in the washer." I said to him.

"Okay thank you phee." He said.

"Maybe get some rest?" I said to him.

"Yeah, that sounds great actually." He said starting to yawn.

I walked downstairs, only to see Johnnie's mom opening the door.

Fuck. I have bloody ass clothes in my hand.

Why do these things happen to me.

"Oh - hey!" I said to her quickly putting the clothes behind my back.

"Hi honey! What you up to?" She asked placing her purse on the table.

"Oh uh- just putting some clothes in the wash." I said nervously.

"Oh, i can help you with that!" She said walking over to me.

"No it's ok-"

"Wow! These are so stained, what's on them?!" She said smiling.

"Oh uh— me and - Johnnie were having a painting fight." I said making the most stupid lie up ever.

"With paint?! You two are silly, I'll get stain remover on these and put them in the wash for ya!" She said nicely.

"Oh okay thank you!" I said.

I ran upstairs.

I seriously can't believe that just happened.

I opened the door only to see Johnnie sleeping. He needed it.

I decided to stay up and just chill.

I did some cool makeup to take some pictures, and watched some shows.

3 am

I was sitting in Johnnie's game chair watching tv until I heard the bed move and Johnnie groan.

He reached over to the night stand to get the cup of water.

He took a sip slowly and then looked up at me.

"Why are you up so late?" He asked in his deep sleepy voice rubbing his eyes.

"I just wasn't tired yet." I said to him.

He set the cup of water down.

"Well come lay down with me, you need sleep too love." He said covering himself back up with covers.

"I'll be there in a sec babe." I said.

I got a makeup wipe and wiped all my makeup off.

I changed into some comfortable clothes and crawled in bed next to Johnnie.

He turned over and wrapped him arms around my waist and scooted me closer.

I closed my eyes, feeling safe in Johnnie's arms.

"I hope you stay forever." I whispered to Johnnie, even though I knew he was sleeping.

Morning

I woke up only to see no figure next to me.

Where was Johnnie?

For some reason I slightly panicked and began to look for him until I saw him walk out the bathroom.

"Oh there you are." I said.

"What babe? I was just peeing." He said smiling.

"I know I just- got worried."

"I'm always here don't worry." He said wrapping his arms around my waist.

He ran his arms up my back.

I rested my head on his chest.

"You better always be." I said back to him.

"I'm not going anywhere." He said reassuring me.

"Last night scared me so bad, I thought he was gonna hurt you really bad." I said knitting my eyebrows together.

"How did you think I feel? He grabbed you away from me, I thought I was gonna loose my girl." He said resting his head on mine.

"Never." I said to him.

He squeezed me tight.
