Chapter 20

Johnnie's pov:

Me and Phoenix were getting ready to go to the mall and look at stuff and probably get some food.

We made up already for the little argument we had and everything has been fine.

Our relationship is doing great and I'm so happy to have her by my side.

"I'm ready Johnnie!" Phoenix said grabbing her bag.

"Alright Phoenix let's head out."

Me and Phoenix got an Uber because my mom was sleeping, and we didn't wanna bother her.

The Uber was here, we walked downstairs and walked outside.

I opened the Uber door for her, letting her get in first.

I got in after her slamming the door shut.

I told the Uber driver what mall we were going to and they began to drive.

The ride was pretty silent, I just looked out the window while I rubbed Phoenix's leg.

She rested her head on my shoulder rubbing my head.

20 minutes later and we arrived at the mall.

"Where do you wanna go first? " I asked her.

"Hot topic! I want to get a plushie or a shirt or something." she said excited.

"Alrighttt let's go." I said.

We walked inside the mall and walked over to the escalators.

We rode up one and tried to find hot topic.

Couple hours later

Me and Phoenix have been looking for a bit and we got a couple things.

Phoenix got a black cat plushie and a sleeping with sirens shirt, and I got a cool poster and a matching sleeping with sirens shirt with Phoenix.

We went down to the food court to find a place to eat.

"Babe we should get some Panda Express that sounds so bomb." I stated.

"Yeahhh I agree let's go!" She said holding my hand.

We got to Panda Express and ordered our food, we then took a seat.

Phoenix's pov:

"Johnnie, I need to go pee I'll be right back babe."

"Alright babe."

I began to walk to the restroom until a tall boy stopped me.

He had blonde short hair, a silver skinny chain on and some rings.

"Hey, I like your necklaces." He said complimenting me.

"Oh thank you." I said smiling. I just wanted to get out of this situation. It was so awkward.

"You're pretty too, lemme get your number or something." He said running his arm up my hand.

"Uh, sorry I have a boyfriend."

"Oh yea? Where is he then?"

Johnnie's pov:

My eyes filled with rage.

My fists clenched so hard.

My heart beat increased so fast.

I literally felt like slamming his head onto the floor and stomp on it.

Why the fuck was he touching her like that?

I got up out of my chair so fast and stomped up to Phoenix and the random bitch dude.

"Dude? What the fuck are you doing?" I said with an angry face.

"Watch your mouth dude, Who the fuck are you?" He said knitting his eyebrows together with an angry look.

"Her fucking boyfriend, get the fuck on somewhere creep." I said shoving him slightly.

"Baby-"

"Pfft motherfucker if you're her boyfriend that's embarrassing, she needs a god damn upgrade jeez" He remarked.

The blonde tall dude stomped off.

"What a fucking dick." I said so pissed off.

"Baby, please don't worry about it he was just an asshole." She said.

"He's stuck up his own ass! What a fucking dick, I mean why the fuck was he touching you like that?? You don't even know the dude!" I said scraping my fingernails down my arm in anger.

"Baby please calm down." Phoenix said rubbing my arm.

"I just need some air." I said angrily walking towards the exit.

Phoenix follows me.

I leaned against a pole, heavily breathing.

I realized what he said and I started to believe it.

I'm so pathetic.

"I just wanna go home Phoenix." I said.

"But, Johnnie-"

"Please I'm just over this already." I said. Sad and angrily.

"Okay.. I'll get an Uber." She said going on her phone.

"I hope you know what he said Isn't true, I mean look at him." She said smiling.

"Heh- yeah. He was cringe." I said smiling.

"You're an amazing boyfriend, looks and personality just everything, so please don't ever think otherwise but I do know it's hard sometimes." She said rubbing my back.

"Thanks Phoenix. I love you."

"I love you more."

15 minutes later

The Uber arrived and we got in.

Me and Phoenix leaned on each other.

I gave her a passionate kiss on the lips.
