Johnnie's pov:

I was getting ready to go to the corner store, I wanted to grab a couple snacks and some things for Phoenix.

"Babe, wake up." I said shaking Phoenix softly trying to wake her up.

"Hmm?" She said with her eyes squinted.

"I'm gonna go to the corner store, did you wanna come?" I asked.

"No thank you babe, I'm too sleepy."

"Alright, you can go back to sleep. I'll be back soon." I planted a kiss on her for head.

She rolled over and drifted back to sleep.

I left the house, making my way down to the corner store.

"Omg hi johnnie!"

Oh no. I knew exactly who it was from that high pitched voice.

Alex.

I turned around.

"Ohhh heyy uh Alex."

"Hii, what brings you out here?" She asked.

It's almost like she's staking me, she's always fucking everywhere dude.

"Just going to the corner store." I said.

"Oh cool, I should totally come with!"

"Oh no that's oka-"

"Cmonnn!"

Kill me, please.

She ranted to me about random stuff while walking with me to the corner store.

Ugh dude I wish she would just leaveee.

We walked into the corner store. I grabbed some sodas and some of Phoenix's favorite snacks.

"Wanna go to the park after this?" Alex asked me.

"Uhmmm well I really need to head home after.." I said hoping she wouldn't ask more.

I put my stuff on the counter. The cashier started to ring up my items.

"Have some fun for onceee."

"I need to get back home to Phoenix, she would probably get worried.."

"You live with Phoenix?.."

Fuck.

I just realized what I said, so I decided to lie.

"Uhh no- she's just at my house."

"Oh. Right." She said loosing her smile in frustration.

"Um okay, im gonna go." She said annoyed.

"Alright, bye Alex."

"Bye."

She stomped out the store.

Finally. No more of her.

I grabbed my bag of snacks and walked out the store.

Phoenix's pov:

I woke up. I remembered that johnnie went to the corner store to get some things.

I picked up my phone from the night stand.

There was like bunches and bunches of missed phone calls and messages from my mom.

Great.

There was a voicemail that she left.

I pressed on it to listen.

"Missy, you think you can just do what the fuck you want now? You're a horrible daughter, how could you just leave the house like this? You think you're heading somewhere in your life but you're not. We are very disappointed in you I mean Jesus Christ I just can't-"
