Chapter 22

Johnnie's pov:

It was like in the middle of the week and me and Phoenix decided to go to school.

We hate it, but we have to catch up on work. We honestly rarely ever show up.

We would drop out if we could, well
Phoenix could but if I even tried to my mom would probably kill me, unless I made up an excuse about my mental health or something.

Whichhh usually wasn't an excuse back then when I would never go. I was super depressed.

Phoenix was slipping into some black ripped jeans, paired with a white black parade t shirt and a jacket as well.

I wore a pierce the veil t shirt with some black jeans, and a leather jacket.

"Let's go." I said as Phoenix was adding the last touches to her hair.

"One second... okay! I'm ready." She said spraying hair spray on her hair.

We grabbed our backpacks and walked down the stairs.

"Bye mom!"

"By ms guilbert!"

We opened the door and began to walk to the school.

"I am DREADING this day." Phoenix said.

"Me too phee, I bet we won't go for the rest of the week." I laughed

"Who caressss one day is enough." Phoenix said.

I held her hand and rubbed my thumb across her hand.

She looked at me and smiled.

My beautiful girl.

We arrived to school and waited outside for the bell to ring, taking a seat on the bench.

She rested her head on my shoulder, fidgeting with her hands.

"You okay babe?" I asked.

"Yeah.."

"Promise?"

"Promise." She said holding my pinkie finger with hers.

The bell rang and everyone started to make their way to class.

I had science and Phoenix had math so we didn't have the same class together. Ugh.

"I'll walk you to class love." I said.

"Okay, thank you baby." She said smiling.

Phoenix's pov:

I was holding Johnnie's hand as we were walking to my math class.

I was really hoping those girls that pick on me aren't at the lockers by my class, but that was like their hang out spot to touch up their makeup and stupid shit.

But why wouldn't they be there? They are every time.

And of course, I see them.

Those stupid blonde bitches.

I looked away trying not to make eye contact.

I didn't want them to embarrass me in front of johnnie.

And the second I thought that, of course Leah as to say something.

"Awww, look it's an ugly emo couple!" She said pointing at us.

Johnnie looked at them with a bitchy face.

"Just ignore them." He said whispering in my ear rubbing my back.

"Fucking gross, that's actually embarrassing. He honestly needs an upgrade." The other girl said.

"Yeah, he's kinda hot actually." One girl snickered.

That's when I froze in my tracks.

I was tired of always getting tossed around like a piece of shit.

And who the fuck do they think they are to call Johnnie hot like I can't hear them or something?

I stomped up to them.

"The fuck did you just say?" I said with a serious face.

"Wowww so scary." Leah laughed.

The main bitch that runs her mouth.

"Babe cmon-"

"You're always running your stupid blonde bitch mouth, please learn how to shut the fuck up, just because the whole football team fucked you doesn't mean you're all that, stupid bitch whore!" I spat out.

Her jaw dropped to the ground.

All her friends gasped, probably knowing it's true.

"Bitch!" She said slapping me across my face.

I held my hand on my face and stared at her with an evil look.

I felt rage all over my body and let it take over.

I put my hands on the side of her head and slammed it against the locker.

"Oww!" She yelled out.

I pushed her on the ground and hit her face over and over again.

"PHOENIX COME ON!!" Johnnie said trying to pull me away.

I ignored and didn't stop.

Her nose began to bleed, as I added more and more scratches all over her face.

People swarmed me yelling.

"I-im sorry just stop!!" She said crying.

"PHOENIX!" Johnnie finally pulled me all the way off of her.

"You're fucking crazy." Some random dude said.

"Shut the fuck up." Johnnie said.

"Stupid bitch." I said in her face as she cried.

Johnnie wrapped his arm around me.

"Let's go please phee."

We walked out of the school together.

"Baby that was unnecessary." He said softly.

I stopped walking.

I was still so angry.

"Unnecessary? Are you fucking kidding me? She's been bullying me ever since middle school and she wont fucking shut her mouth, so don't give me that shit!" I snapped.

"I-im sorry, you're right you just got angry it's okay Phoenix just breathe please." He said rubbing my back.

"In... and out." he said

I listened to him.

If anyone could calm me down it was johnnie.

"So much for our school day." I said.

"Ehhh so what." He said.

I smiled turning to him, grabbing his chin and giving him a kiss.

"Let's go to the park or something." He said.

"Agreed." I said swinging his hand around trying to calm down.

"I already feel better, just as long as you're next to me." I said.

"Till death do us part love." He said kissing my neck.
