{ You Know About Them Don't You? }

"UP! UP! UP! ITS A BIG BIG BIG DAY!" I heard someone screech.

"Effie Trinket?" I rolled over.

"No silly it's your best friend," the person continued.

"Thean?" I sat up.

"Ouch," Raven touched his chest. "Never mind. I'll forgive you."

"Here you go. I brought you some cereal and buttered toast," he put a tray on my bedside table.

"Breakfast in bed? Why are you being so nice to me?" I questioned as I went into the toilet to brush my teeth. I came back and sat on my bed, the dazed and sleepy.

"I don't know. Mum asked me to be nice," he shrugged.

"Oh why aren't you  a mama's boy," I smiled sarcastically.

"You just woke up and you're already so sassy," he rolled his eyes. "She also said that she wanted to talk to you," he started to the door. What could Claudia want to tell me that's so important? And why did she ask Raven to be nice? Something clicked in me. I stood up and ran to the door, throwing open the door forcefully- slamming the edge on Raven's face in the process- and ran down screaming Claudia's name. As expected I found her in the kitchen.

"Claudia! Claudia!" I stood in front of her breathless. She turned around but she didn't look me in the eyes. "You know about them don't you?"

"Who?" Raven asked behind us, clutching the side of his face.

Her green eyes bored into mine. "I got a call today morning, but-".

"We have to go! Now! I need to go!" I cut her off.

"Who? Where? What am I missing out?" Raven asked again.

"None of your business," Claudia and I snapped at the same time.

"Do you really want to go now? What about school?" Claudia shifted her eyes back to me.

"Screw school. I need to go now. I need you to understand how important this is! To me! We need to leave now!" I tried keeping my ecstasy in. I couldn't. All I could think of, they have been found. My mum, dad, and Evan.

I tapped my foot furiously. When was I going to board the plane? I needed to see Newcastle again. I needed to see my house. Full of life, with the people I've dearly loved. I stood and started walking around. I couldn't sit still. The thought of seeing my family, it was patching up the hole in my heart bit by bit. I sat again, continuing to tap my foot furiously. Raven touched my knee steadying my leg.

"You didn't need to come you know?" I look at him.

"I also want to explore Australia okay? You came to Canada. So its just fair that I see your country," he grinned. He had decided to go with us, the minute Claudia agreed to book us tickets back.

Claudia came and handed us our boarding ticket. Alberta to Perth. Perth?

"Why does it say Perth?" I looked at Claudia quizzically.

"They're there," she breathed. I shrugged. I don't care where they are. I just want to see them and squeeze the lives out of them. It was freezing in the airport. Here, winter was around the corner. But being the idiot I am, I wore a sleeveless top and skinny jeans. I huddled myself, rubbing my arms.
