SADNESS

So, you're wondering how to deal with sadness?

Haha probably not but I'm going to go over this anyway.

Ways To Deal With Sadness:

(Recommendation level scale: 1 lowest, 10 highest)

1. Cry until your eyes fall out—While crying always helps, crying until your eyes fall out may cause some problems. However, if you want to cry, cry! It feels good, and helps you. Trust me on that one. I say that if you're completely devastated, go ahead and cry. Recommendation Level: 3–4

2. Listen to happy music—Most of us probably listen to sad music when we're sad but, NEWS FLASH, this only makes us sadder! *gasp*! Instead, go listen to an upbeat song. Maybe even an upbeat song with sad lyrics...for example: The Judge by Twenty One Pilots. My guess is, listening to happy music will cheer you up...at least a little. Recommendation Level: 4–6

3. Listen to insane music—When I say this, I do not mean music screaming bloody murder with axe sounds in the back. I mean a song that almost empowers you. There are some songs that just make you want to take on the world. For example: SING by My Chemical Romance, Save Rock and Roll by Fall Out Boy, and This is Gospel by Panic! At the Disco. These are the songs that generally help ME. Recommendation Level: 6–8

4. Listen to some of your favorite songs—Obviously this is going to help you out. Listen to your favorite songs, your favorite artists, and make sure you're blasting the music. The songs will get stuck in your head and they'll push out all the sad thoughts. I've used this one the most, and it definitely helps. Recommendation Level: 7–10

5. Watch your favorite viner—This helps a lot. Vines are meant to be short, funny, and quick. The quicker they are, the faster your sadness will disappear as you watch these. Of course, your sadness can't disappear if you keep thinking about it. However, if you focus on the vines your sadness will soon be forgotten. I always watch Thomas Sanders when I want to sob. Recommendation Level: 6–9

6. Watch videos of your favorite celebrity—This one helps so much it's actually scary. Your favorite celebrity's hilarious-ness will cheer you up fast. Especially if they're super awkward in an adorable way, like Patrick Stump, or accidentally funny, like Dylan O'Brien and Tyler Posey. Recommendation Level: 5–9
