Falling For You

Chapter Six

My body felt slightly over heated as I sat next to Tessa on our towel, we were on a secluded beach that was near Kylie's house. Across from us sat Kylie who was picking out the strawberries from our fruit salad and eating them.

"Don't eat them all." Tessa laughed before stealing one herself. Although we were on the beach no one had actually gotten into the water. Understandably, Kylie wanted to tan and Tessa felt the water was too cold. 

Standing up, I pulled my phone out of my purse and informed the two on my intentions, "I'm gonna go sit in the water." They silently nodded leaving me to head to the water to sit on the edge of the ocean. Although the sun was blazing down on us the water still seemed to be fairly cold. As the tide came in and out my body slowly got used to the temperature. I looked down at my phone, opening a text from my mom.

"How is everything?"

"It's good." 

I chose to leave out the details from last night and the current ones involving Kylie. Kylie was quickly becoming someone I enjoyed being around, after we left she got Tessa's number from Stassie and asked us to go to the beach with her. She'd quickly opened up to us and I found her extremely easy to talk to.

Sighing, I threw my phone over to where the water didn't reach and walked further into the water, to the point where it was at my belly button. 

Tessa's POV

Kylie and I silently watched as Nadia went to the water, beside us Kylie's phone buzzed against her exposed thigh. Looking down at it she, smirked and shook her head.

My curiosity peaked and I asked, "What?"

"Jay wants to know if he can come over tonight to hang out. I feel like none of them ever have shit to do." Kylie closed the lid to the fruit and reached for a water. The fact that we were currently at the beach with Kylie Jenner  was still surreal but also seemed as if she weren't a celebrity. 

Kylie curiously spoke, "You guys wanna come over tonight? I'll be bored as fuck with the guys."

I shrugged, "I'm down."

Minutes later Nadia stood by our feet, drying off the ocean water that soaked her skin. I had yet to actually question her about how she ended up with Justin last night, so as she sat back down on the towel I turned my attention to her.

"Nadia, what happened last night?" 

Taking the bag of sour gummy worms that she had brought, she answered, "What do you mean?"

The topic piqued Kylie's interest as she looked back up from her phone and eyed Nadia, who still looked through the bag for the pink and blue worms.

Kylie scoffed, "How'd you end up in Jay's room last night? I left you with him so that was my bad but I figured you'd find Tessa to chill with."

She shrugged and looked at the two of us, "Since you wanna know so bad, we took a shot of absinthe and it didn't sit too well, so I had to throw up and he just took me to his room. I threw up and I felt shaky so he gave me some of Kylie's clothes and I accidentally fell asleep."

"You took a shot of absinthe?" Kylie asked, shocked.

"Accidentally?"

Rolling her eyes, she gave us both our answers, "Yeah, it was a mistake. Absinthe is a bitch and yeah, accidentally. Damn. I was drunk as hell, last thing I was trying to do is spend the night with Justin Bieber."
