"You should probably call Tessa, she's kinda mad at you." I sighed and nodded, pulling away. I looked around the room to find my phone laying next to my notebook that ha the note inside. I quickly grabbed my phone and threw my notebook into my bag while Justin wasn't paying attention.

"I'm gonna go talk to her outside." Justin nodded before flipping through the channels on the tv. I turned to leave heading down to the pool while dialing Tessa's number. There was a long pause before she answered, "Nadia?"

"Yeah." I leaned against the balcony where the pool was.

"So why are you staying at a hotel and why didn't you tell me?"

I sighed and looked down, "I just needed to think about somethings."

There was another pause before I heard shuffling and a door close on Tessa's end, "You wanna tell me what's going on?"

My heart sped up and I looked around for Justin although I knew he was nowhere around, "I cheated on Justin." My hand shook against my ear as I spoke because I knew that Tessa was going to freak out on me.

"What the fuck? With who?" Her voice was laced with shock.

"Martin. It was when we left Stassie's party. I was really drunk, Tess, and I don't fucking know. I talked to my mom and she told me I need to tell him and I know I do but I'm freaking out, then he shows up here." My words came out surprisingly calm but there was still a slight shake to my voice.

"But Martin is underage, he was sober." This was a statement not a question but I still answered it, "Yeah, he was."

"He's so fucked up, like damn." She was still shocked.

I began to cry but tried desperately to stop, partially because I hated crying and feeling weak but also because Justin would be able to see and I could tell him like this, "I'm not innocent. I could have stopped, for a second I tried but then I don't know. Tessa, I hate myself."

"You can't tell him."

"I know I have to tell him but-" I stopped after processing what she said, which was the last thing I was expecting to hear. My eyes furrowed, "What?"

"No, I'm serious. You cannot tell Justin, he was going to tell you he loves you soon. I'm going to just pretend you didn't tell me that and I'm going to take care of Martin, but you can't tell him unless you don't feel the same. Do you?"

I was still analyzing everything she had just said. I had just spend the last few hours coming to terms with the fact that I had to tell Justin and trying to get the balls to do it and now I was being told not to. My head spun, "What? Tessa, I have to."

"Do you love Justin?"

"I- Tessa, I just met him." I breathed heavily, my head slowly beginning to hurt.

Tessa shh'ed me on the other end, "Answer me. I get you just met him but Justin told me at the beach that he loved you. Said he knows it's cray 'cause you just met but he hasn't felt like this towards someone since Selena. So tell me."

"I do love him, but that's all the more reason to tell him."

"You're not telling. So just spend the night with him and we'll talk when you get home." My stomach turned again but I sighed and Tessa took that as me agreeing before hanging up. I silently headed back up to the room.

When I opened the door Justin was watching tv. He smiled at my entrance and sat up, "Hey wanna go out to dinner or something?"

I looked at the clock that read around four o'clock, a little early for dinner time but I agreed anyway, "Um, yeah. I haven't eaten, let's go." I quickly got dressed into a casual outfit and held my hands out for Justin to see.
