Four weeks later...

I sat quietly one the floor of Kylie's living room playing with her new puppy, Penny, who was trying desperately to get the toy from my hands. Behind me Kylie and Tessa laid out on the couch watching Stranger Things that they were both currently obsessed with.

From the kitchen there was sounds of clattering from the chef that Kylie had hired for night. I had no idea what they were cooking but the mixture of herbs filled the room and I was eager to taste it.

Kylie spoke quietly to me, "So, how have you and Justin been? I know you were stressed about the Martin situation."

I sighed, two weeks ago Tessa had convinced me to tell Kylie about Martin and that's the last time it had been talked about. Although, not telling Justin was for his sake it was stressing me out. Martin was rarely around but when he was I would be on edge.

"Um, it's been hard but we've been good. It's crazy because I did not think that this would turn into what it did and now that it has I just don't know what to do. The only thing wrong is that he kind of keeps me in the dark when it comes to management. I still don't technically know about Selena."

Kylie looked at me, "Yeah, it'll probably stay that way. With him keeping you in the dark, honestly I don't think that's a bad thing. I wouldn't worry about it, unless it becomes a problem. Just focus on the two of you and it'll all be good. Martin's nothing, management is nothing. You're still staying, right?"

I nodded, the conversation quickly ending when the front door opened to reveal Justin, Ryan, Za, and Tyga. I did my best to make it seem like we were having a naturally conversation, "I want a puppy."

Justin sat the twelve pack he was holding on the table before bending down and kissing me, "I could make that happen, ya know? What breed do you want?"

"Mm, a Frenchie. I think."

He smiled before walking towards the kitchen, "I'll make a mental note of that."

"Jay, dinner was a surprised!" Kylie yelled, rolling her eyes before grabbing one of the beers. As she popped it opened the chef's voice followed announcing the food was done. Walking into the dining Justin was already sat in front of a made plate. The chef gestured to the food, "Herb-crusted Halibut."

Kylie quickly thanked him, then dismissed him allowing us to take a seat. Mine was next to Justin who wrapped me in a hug before letting me sit, "I missed you, babe."

"You were at the house yesterday." I laughed before taking my first bite. The Halibut was perfectly cooked and I wondered where Kylie found this chef and if I could borrow him sometime.

"Jay, you whipped." Za's voice was low, but could still be heard and caused Justin to shake his head.

"You mad you alone?"

Za shook his head back in response, "Hell nah. I'm good." The rest of dinner was filled with light conversation and I looked around at everyone's plate periodically noticing that mine was much more full. My appetite had slowly disappeared and although my plate was still half full I couldn't finish.

Kylie's voice carried across the table, "Was it gross, Nadia? Cause I paid a lot for that asshole."

"No, I'm just full. I don't know." I furrowed my brows in confusion. Normally I wouldn't get this full this fast and I didn't understand what had changed, "It's whatever I guess."

Tessa pointed her fork at me, shaking he head, "You didn't really eat a lot yesterday either, did she Jay?"

Justin shook his head and looked at me, the hand that he had rested on my knee rubbed it lightly, "You were lightheaded few days ago, too. You good baby?"

"Yeah, I mean that was the only time I felt sick and it went away. It used to happen when I was younger too, so it's no big deal?"

The conversation had suddenly turned to me and I could sense everyone's eyes, but they stopped when Kylie began to collect plates. I handed her mine, looking back at Justin who took advantage of the rush to get the dishes in the sink, "You sure you're okay?"

I nodded, "Yes, Justin."

"Don't be like that that's just got me worried. Maybe you should make a doctor's appointment, you got a doctor here now right?"

I sighed, "Yes, I do. If it'll make you feel better than I will make a doctor's appointment."

Justin kissed my cheek before standing and heading back to the living room where everyone had slowly migrated, "Maybe you'll get your puppy while you're at the doctors."

I smiled and followed slowly behind. I knew that nothing was wrong with me, but the sudden worry from everyone had caused me a little anxiousness thinking about it. My mom had brought up before that I may have anemia but the symptoms never lasted long enough to be a concern.

I erased the thought from my mind and sat next to Tessa who was turning on the wii to Mario cart, "I'm gonna kick your guys ass."

Ryan laughed, grabbing a remote, "Tessa, shut up. You know you're gonna lose."

I don't have much to say this time other than you should know that at this point they are two months into the summer, so it is around July (since summers in college start in early May).
