Taken

Hayden and Ryder growled at him. Great just what I need another fight. Then I turned to look at James and something happen to his eyes. They changed color, they were blue now they are gray. Ryder and Hayden must have noticed to because they were starting to tense up.

"What do you want James?" Hayden said through clenched teeth.

"Ahh looks like we got a couple of werewolves here." James said

Ryder grabbed my arm and began to push me behind him. Then he said:

"Aubrey when I say run I want you to run. James is a beast hunter."

Hayden was trying to shut the door on James. But it was to late. James hand caught the door and he gave us a smirk.

"Awww the puppies are trying to play. Well if you just wanted to play why didn't you say so." James said has he tried to punch Hayden.

Hayden dodge the punch and took James legs out from under him. Then Ryder yelled run. I ran with Ryder on my tail. When we stopped running we turned around to see that Hayden and James were now fighting outside. Ryder told me to hide and to wait till James was gone to come out. Then Ryder shifted and went after James. When Ryder got to James he jumped on his back and bit into his neck leaving a big bite on James neck. This gave Hayden time to shifted and get back in the fight. Hayden bit onto James arm. Then all a sudden the sky started to get dark and lightning began to flash. James was controlling the storm. I was scared for both of the boys then because they could die. I got up and  started walking towards James. James frozen when he saw me.

"What are you my darling?" he said

I was not about ready to tell him that I was a wolf and healer.

"Your worst nightmare." I said

"Do you think little princess?" He said while laughing evilly

I couldn't let my mate died and I definitely couldn't let his brother die. I closed my eyes and focused on saving them. Then I felt a warm feeling spread through my body. Then I raised my hand and pointed it at James.

"Yes I do think that." I said

Fire shot out of my hand sending it straight for James. He quickly dodged it but he looked shocked and scared. What he didn't know was that the grass behind him had caught on fire. Ryder and Hayden kept attacking him. Most of the grass was on fire then and there was lots of smoke. I started coughing and I felt my eyes getting heavy. Right before my eyes closed I saw James taking Ryder and Hayden running over to me. Right as I fell Hayden caught me and dragged me out of the smoke.

"Get Ry-yder be-fore he ta-akes h-im." I said having a hard time breathing.

"James is gone already Aubrey he took Ryder." Hayden said

Then I couldn't breath anymore and I started to close my eyes. Right before I was completely out I heard Hayden say:

"We will save Ryder, Aubrey even if it is the last thing I do."

. The last thing Hayden said played over and over in my mind as I drifted off.
