Engaged

Aubrey

I woke up with something heavy around my waist and somebody laying against me. When I looked I saw that it was Hayden. He looked so cute when he was sleeping.

"Hey Hayden wake up." I said while I started to shake him.

He laid there sound asleep so I decide I will go on a run. So I got dressed and grabbed an extra pair of clothes. Before I left I gave Hayden a kiss on his head.

When I got out of the house I head towards the woods. When I was in the woods I decided to start to shift. I felt my canine teeth and nails start to grow. Then I felt my heart beat start to speed up. I saw they black and blue veins start to pop out. I felt my eyes switch from blue to gold. Then I heard my bones start to crack. After the first transformation it doesn't hurt as much anymore. I'm finally in my wolf form and it has been a long time since I shifted.

I started running and running until I was completely tired. I figured that I should probably head back to the house before Hayden freaks out. So I ran back to my house.

When I walked in the house Hayden and Ryder came around the corner with a worried face.

"Where the hell have you been?!" Ryder said to me.

"I went for a run." I said walking towards the kitchen.

"And you decided that you weren't going to tell any body!" Ryder said looking at me.

Hayden walked over towards me and put his arms around my waist and then looked at his brother.

" Ryder, calm down. She is fine." Hayden said before he kissed me on the cheek.

"No I'm not going to calm down because she has somebody who wants to kill her and she could have been killed!" Ryder said still freaking out on me.

"Ryder, I will be fine. Nate has my back too." I said.

"Oh yeah I forgot about your other mate. Who tried to kill me!" Ryder said still angry at me.

"Ryder just stop ok. I'm fine." I said.

"Fine. I'm going I will see you guys later." He said as he walked away.

"I'm sorry Hayden if I scared you." I said looking at him.

"It is ok, cutie." He said kissing my forehead before walking away into the living room

"Hey cutie, come here I have a surprise for you." Hayden said.

I walked into the living room to find a picnic laying on the floor and the song Marry Me by Jason Derulo playing.

I wanted to cry because it was so sweet. After we ate we started to dance.

"Aubrey, I love you." Hayden said into my ear.

And for the first time I knew I loved him too.

"I love you too," I said to Hayden.

Then I noticed Hayden get down on one knee and pull something out of his pocket.

"Aubrey Night will you marry me?" He said smiling up at me.

And for the first time in a long time I was actually happy and I knew exactly what I wanted.

"Yes" I said to Hayden.

He smiled at me and jumped up and twirled me around. He then put me down and put the ring on my finger. It was a gold with a heart and it had diamonds.

I couldn't help but smile when I looked at the ring.

I was engaged to Hayden.

I was going to get married to Hayden.
