After Ryder kissed me, I stood there questioning myself.  Did I make the right choice?

After a while, Hayden walked out and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Cutie, are you ok?" Hayden said.

"Yeah I'm alright." I said looking off towards the woods were Ryder left.

"You sure." He said again.

"Yeah I'm just fine." I said again.

But for some reason my heart was telling me that I wasn't fine and that kiss had did something to me.

Ryder POV

After I kissed Aubrey I went for a run.

Ever since I kissed her I couldn't help but think about her and the kiss.

She kissed me back and I kissed her back. She definitely felt something in that kiss.

But what does it matter; She's marrying my brother.

While I was deep in my thoughts I hadn't noticed the girl standing a few feet in head of me.

She just looked at me. And I looked at her.

She had brown hair with brown eyes. Why did she look so familiar?

"Are you just going to stare at me or say something?" The girl said putting her hand on her hip.

I couldn't help but stare at her. She looked really familiar.

"Umm no it's just you look familiar." I said looking at her.

"Maybe it is because I'm in your dreams." The girl said smirking.

"By the way my name is the Ella." The girl said.

"Well my name is Ryder." I said looking at her.

"Oh you didn't have to tell me that." Ella said walking towards me.

"I already know you so well." She said as she was standing arms length away.

"How do u?" I said watching her carefully.

"Lets just say I know people." She said turning away from me.

"Alright." I said still weary about her.

"So what has you in such a sad mood, Ryder?" She said waving for me to walk beside her.

"It's my mate." I said walking up beside her.

"What's her name?" Ella said as she turn to look at me.

"Aubrey Night." I said smiling when I said her name.

"Oh" Ella said with a smile.

Why was she smiling?

"So, what problems?" Ella said looking at me again.

"She's marrying my brother because he is also her mate." I said glancing at Ella.

"Wow, she picked your brother over you." She said smiling up at me.

"Yeah I know." I said.

"Well she made the wrong choice." Ella said looking down at the ground.

"Yeah well as long as she is happy, I'm happy. I would be even more happier if she was my soon to be wife." I said looking off towards a field.

"Yeah well maybe you will find your own happiness." Ella said looking at me.

Could I really find my own happiness without Aubrey?

"Hey Ryder" Ella said snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah" I said looking at her.

"I can help you get your mind off of Aubrey." Ella said looking at me.

"How?" I said.

"Race me." Ella said pointing to the tree all the way at the end of the field.

"How will that help?" I said looking at her.

"Just trust me I can make you forget Aubrey, real fast" Ella said looking at me with a look that made me shiver.

"Ok I will race you." I said getting ready to race her.

"Ready....."

"On...."

"Your Mark....."

"Get Set ......"

"Go!" She yelled as we raced across the field.

When I got  to the end way before her, I started thinking about how familiar she looked again.

I knew her and when she said that thing about forgetting Aubrey it sounded way to similar.

"Hey whatcha thinking about?" She said has she finished running.

"About how familiar you look." I said looking at her.

"Like I said, in your dreams." Ella said laughing.

Maybe she was right. Maybe my head was just playing tricks on me.

But I knew one thing and that was that Aubrey was so much more beautiful then Ella.

I also knew that Aubrey was mine.

And she would be mine.

Mine.
