Broken Heart

Love is something everybody experiences sometime in their life. It can have it's ups and downs but love will always find your heart. But love can be broke like a spell of a curse so treasure it carefully.

That's what my grandma would always tell me. She was so right.

It has been two days since I have seen Ryder. I don't know if I could honestly could bring myself to see him again. He doesn't even know me so why would I go see him.

Because he is your mate, dummy. Yeah well Hayden is my mate too. I said arguing with myself inside my head.

I feel like I am going crazy. My heart feels like it has been ripped into two.

That's when I hear a knock on the door.  When the door opens, I see Hayden walk in with two dishes of cookie dough ice cream and the movie "The Host". I smiled at him because he knows how much I love cookie dough ice cream and that movie. 

He hands me my ice cream and sits down beside me on the couch.

"You ready to start the movie?" Hayden says looking at me.

"Yes lets get this thing started." I said smiling back at him.

In all the movies they always seem to have a happy ending. How comes they have a happy ending but I don't get one.

"That was a pretty good movie I will admit it to you, Aubrey." Hayden said smiling at me.

"I know they have the perfect ending." I said as I felt a tear slide down my cheek.

Hayden wiped the tear away with his finger and held my face in is hands.

"Aubrey, I promise everything will turn out like it is suppose too." He said looking me in the eyes.

"Hayden, I really want to believe that but honestly we all know fairy tale endings only happen in movies or books" I said looking him over.

Hayden was muscular, tan, caring, and very good looking. I couldn't help but look him over. Then that's when my eyes met his lips. They look so good and even better to kiss.

"Aubrey, are you ok?" Hayden said snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yes, I'm fine." I said looking down.

Hayden slipped his hand under my chin and brought my eyes to his.

"Aubrey, don't lie to me." He said looking at me with concern.

"I promise Hayden I'm fine." I said knowing that I was not fine at all. I felt like at any moment I would burst open and the tears would come out.

"Aubrey, I know your not ok because I see the tears and the pain in your eyes." He said as I realized I was already crying.

I look away again not wanting him to watch me cry about his brother for the 100th time in these two days. He grabbed me by my waist and picked me up and set me on his lap so that I was facing him.

"Hey sweetheart, it is ok don't worry. I promise I will make everything better. I promise." Hayden said as he wiped the tears away.

When he said that to me I felt safe and I believed that he could actually fixed everything. I also noticed that I stopped crying. I looked him in the eyes and I couldn't help but smile at him. He smiled back and then tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear. He started to lean into kiss me and I started to lean in to. Just as we were about to kiss somebody started knocking on the door. Hayden got up and swung the door open to reveal a worried Mia.

"Aubrey, it is Ryder, he doesn't know what he is doing." She said sounding extremely worried.

Oh boy what did he do now to break my heart again?
