Monday had always been my least favorite day of the week. Not just because it's after the weekend, but my classes were some of the worst subjects ever. Starting the day with two hours of math, followed by biology for another and then topping the cake with history. So when lunch finally arrived, I was already drained and dead tired. So when a zombiefied version of Allie Miller made her way through the cafeteria doors, the last thing she needed were the whispers of the crowd involving the exciting and scandalous happenings on Saturday. But that was the very first thing my hearing caught when I passed a group of juniors who were giggling about my name of all things.

"My sister told me Allie Miller and Nate Ashton made out in the middle of the dance floor. Saw it with her own eyes even."

"Seriously, I heard they were caught sleeping together in a bedroom upstairs."

"My cousin told me she went home with him that night."

"Geez, Santana must be fuming. Can't wait to see that."

Realization settled into me as I slowly made my way to end of the lunch line and became aware of the fleeting glances that people would send me before continuing on their way. I felt self-conscious as the stares didn't stop and instead looked down at the ground. I was very aware of the small feeling of panic about to explode within me after my stupid, drunk mistake as I gulped nervously. The worst part, people weren't even hiding the fact they were talking about me. I could hear my name bouncing from one person to another perfectly fine. One rumor to another about what happened between me and Ashton. I couldn't help but feel like a fool, believing everything would be fine after making out with the school's bad boy of all people. Who, I just realized had a girlfriend. A girlfriend that would probably make the rest of my high school life a nightmare.

I turned around to the sound of running footsteps and saw Grace making her way towards me with wide eyes. The both of us grabbed each others arm in sync and blurted out at the same time.

"I'm fucked."

"You're fucked."

Sharing a small fleeting look of panic, both of us ran out of the cafeteria together, ignoring the surprised looks people gave us and how crazy we probably looked. Grace was the one dragging me down the hall and suddenly pushed open a door to a random classroom as I followed her inside and saw Lily seated there, looking very anxious.

"You're fucked, you know that?" Lily asked when the door closed behind me.

"You don't need to remind me, please," I begged the slightest. "Have you guys heard anything?"

"Oh darling you don't want to know what I've heard," Lily gave a slight exaggerated look of disgust that did not calm my nerves.

"Honestly, I didn't think you making out with Nate Ashton would cause this much trouble," Grace muttered with guilty pout.

I sighed and tried to send her a assuring smile. "It's not your fault. It was my own stupid drunk self who did that."

"Did you hear anything about Santana, Lils?" Grace asked the smaller girl cautiously.

"You can say that," the Latina said. "We had a family dinner on Sunday and her friends had called her to tell the news. I've never seen her turn that red before."

"Shit..." I couldn't help but mutter. "I thought they broke up? He even said they broke up!"

"They did," Lily agreed. "But underneath that calm and cold surface of hers, Santana is a possessive bitch. Especially when it comes to Nate Ashton. Heard their breakup was nasty."

"How come?" Grace asked curiously while leaning against a desk.

"Well according to her housekeepers they had a yelling match. He accused her on cheating several times and not coming clean while he gave her the chance, and how he had ignored her for the past few months."
