There is a place I yearn to go,
It's a place nobody knows.
When the travails and the turbulence
Take their toll on the soul,
I think of a place somewhere
And that place is you.
All I want is
To simply be in your presence
And to receive heaps
Of your radiance, your warmth.
There's nothing here but despondency
And distrust is almost a byword for everything
And I hate having to be here,
This place of chaos and selfishness.
If I can have one thing,
It's to simply be with you.
To know you, to learn about you.
And to hopefully be the one for you.
It's all I ever want
Right here, right now.
I don't want to be anywhere else,
I just want to run to you.
