Also know how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong, but to feel strong.

"Parker?" I gasp when I turn around.

"Lennon." he repeats not in the form of a question this time. His eyes run down my body and I shift on my feet, uncomfortably.

The fifth time his eyes run down my body I finally ask him in a harsh tone, "What?"

"N-Nothing," his eyes meet mine again. They are filled with surprise, humor and an unreadable emotion.

"Okay." I have no idea how to start this conversation and I look for Vinnie. No luck.

"I didn't know you danced." he shouts over the music. I barely remembered that the music was there.

"I don't...normally." I respond.

"Well would you like to dance?" he raises his brow.

"Hum," I stammer, “I guess."

He seems surprised that I agreed but advances towards me. I place my hand on his shoulder and grab the other hand with my free one.

"Not like this," he laughs and I flush. He must mean me grinding against him is some form of dancing.

"Oh. Hum.  I can't grind like that." I point to the girls next to me that is up against some guy.

"That's fine. I'll show you. “He smirks and I squeak in surprise when his hands grip my hips. He spins me around and I stumble forward to the crowd.

Thankfully, Parker’s arm wraps around my waist before I fall on some couple making out and split them apart. I wriggle from his grasp and turn to him again.

"I really can't.” I shake my head.

"Why not? It is just dancing." he points out.

I glance around to look at the crowd and shake my head, no. It just feels too weird and if I mess up somehow it will be an awkward encounter on Monday when we have to work.

"I'm sorry, but I honestly can't.” I state to Parker. He sighs but nods. His eyes are cold and I notice he won't look at me.

I remember people always telling me that Parker has cold eyes when he is angry. But I haven't seen it since now.

A shiver runs down my spine when his cold eyes connect with mine. I don't remember what his eyes were like when he was...breaking my hand.  Or why they looked like before I told him to get out, but I can imagine they were a lot harder and colder looking then now.

"Want to play Truth or Dare? A bunch of people are." he suggests. I nod and he leads me to a circle of people.
