Xavier's POV

Once the announcer has left the stage, the crowd dissolves.  We immediately go over to the girls.  Terry's still mad at me for Penny kissing me.  My wolf really hates me now too for loosing her again even though it was partially his fault.

'IT IS NOT!  I CAN RESIST SOMEONE'S HEAT!  YOU APPARENTLY CANNOT!' My wolf yells at me.  I just block him out.  He was giving me a headache.

"Hey Terry." I smile sheepishly at her.  She glances at me but doesn't say anything.  She starts talking with Jimmy and I growl lowly so only she can hear.

"You're so in the dog house man." Julio shakes his head and pats me on the back.  I nod.  I got the guys to actually listen to my side of the story and help me win her back.

!@#$%^&*()

"Let's hear it for The Aaura Of Heaven!" The announcer says.  The girls go on stage and start playing.

Terry:When I was younger I saw my daddy cry

And curse at the wind.

He broke his own heart and I watched

As he tried to reassemble it.

And my momma swore

That she would never let herself forget.

And that was the day that I promised

I'd never sing of love if it does not exist.

Olivia and Terry:But darling,

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

Terry:Maybe I know somewhere deep in my soul

That love never lasts.

And we've got to find other ways to make it alone.

Or keep a straight face.

And I've always lived like this

Keeping a comfortable distance.

And up until now I have sworn to myself

That I'm content with loneliness.

All:Because none of it was ever worth the risk.

Well you are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

You are the only exception.

Terry and Olivia:I've got a tight grip on reality,

But I can't let go of what's in front of me here.

I know you're leaving in the morning when you wake up.

Leave me with some kind of proof it's not a dream.

Oh-oh-oh-ohhh.

All:You are the only exception

You are the only exception

You are the only exception

You are the only exception

You are the only exception

You are the only exception

You are the only exception

You are the only exception

Terry:And I'm on my way to believing.

Oh, and I'm on my way to believing

Everyone cheers but not as loud as last time.  The next group plays and I have to admit, they're pretty good.  After them it's our turn.  We set up and before we start, I wink at Terry.  She blushes and rolls her eyes.

Me:We'll do it all

Everything

On our own

We don't need

Anything

Or anyone

All:If I lay here

If I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world

Me:I don't quite know

How to say

How I feel

Those three words

Are said too much

They're not enough

All:If I lay here

If I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world

Forget what we're told

Before we get too old

Show me a garden that's bursting into life

Me:Let's waste time

Chasing cars

Around our heads

I need your grace

To remind me

To find my own

All:If I lay here

If I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we’re told

Before we get too old

Show me a garden that's bursting into life

All that I am

All that I ever was

Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see

I don't know where

Confused about how as well

Just know that these things will never change for us at all

Me:If I lay here

If I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world

At the end of the song the crowd cheers louder than last time and we walk off the stage.  I think that went pretty well.
