"PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEA-"
"If I say yes will you stop?" I ask my kids. They nod eagerly and I sigh. "Okay. Just stay with me and don't go too far. There's rogues out there."
We get in the car and the door to front passenger seat opens.
"I'm coming with you." Xavier says as he hops in the car.
"Uh, no you aren't." I glare at him.
"Yes I am."
"No you're not."
"Yes I am."
"No you're not."
"Yes I am."
"No you're-"
"JUST DRIVE THE CAR! I NEED MY ICE CREAM FIX!" Carly shouts.
"Ice cream?" Xavier raises an eyebrow.
"Yes you idiot, what did you think we were doing?" I ask.
"Skipping town." Xavier admits sheepishly. I just roll my eyes and start driving.

After we get our ice cream, Dustin goes to the bathroom.
"Aren't you worried about the rogues?" Xavier asks.
"Yes but it's just the bathroom. What am I gonna do? Let him pee himself? Besides, what could happen?" I say.
"NO! You're gonna jinx yourself momma! That's what happens in the movies and TV shows!" Carly exclaims.
"Carls, that's not real." Emilia chuckles. Carly pouts Emilia and 'humphs'. That's when we hear a scream.
