After planning everything with Russel, I decided to go home.

Nasa gate pa lang ako when I saw Kuya CL on the door at inaabangan ako. Or probably he wants to see if I am with Blaise.

Nang makalapit na ako sa kanya ay nilagpasan ko lang siya. I didn't even look at him. Nagtuloy lang ako sa paglalakad hanggang sa makapasok sa bahay. Napatayo si Gail mula sa sofa upon seeing me.

"Hey, where have you been?" tanong niya nang lapitan ko siya.

"I spent the night with Blaise" I answered without missing a beat. She sighed.

"We were so worried. Your brothers were really worried lalo na ang Kuya CL mo. He thought that you're not coming back anymore"

I didn't answer because I don't know what to say. My brother is worried about me, so what?

"Talk to me, Ari. What are you gonna do now?"

"I talked to Russel and we already have a plan. I'll make something really terrible na siya na mismo ang kakawala sa'kin"

I smiled to myself as I said those words without crying. Does everything hardened me already or it's just there are no more tears for me to cry?

Gail let out a deep sigh and then I realize that she's crying already.

"I feel so bad. Ari, kung makakausap lang natin si Rennan alam kong hindi niya rin gugustuhin ang gagawin mo na yan. We all know how Blaise loves you so much and now you're bound to hurt him because of something he didn't do"

I sighed heavily and shook my head. "Wala naman na akong magagawa eh. It's either I give him up or let him die. I can only hope that maybe someday he will forgive me. And if there's still much hope left, maybe we can also fix everything and sana kung darating man ang panahon na yun, malaya na kaming mahalin ang isa't isa"

"What the hell?" bulalas ni Captain and he stared at me in wide eyes. He almost spit out his beer kung hindi niya lang naagapan ang sarili niya

"You heard me right" I said tonelessly and took a sip of my vodka. He tsked.

"Hindi ako makapapayag sa gusto niyo na yan. Leave me out of it!" he exclaimed in a hard tone and I can't blame him kung ganyan ang reaksyon niya.

I sighed deeply at hinawakan ang kamay niya. "Please.. Captain, it has to be you" I said in a pleading voice but his face remains the same.

"At bakit naman ako?!"

"Kasi ikaw lang ang pinagseselosan niya"

"Yeah that's true. Ilang beses niyang nabanggit sa'min nun na nagseselos siya sa closeness niyo ni Arya. So if we're going to execute our plan, you are the perfect guy for it" pasok ni Russel sa usapan.

Captain looked at both of us as his jaw tightened. "I don't want any bad blood with Blaise. He's not the one to mess up with" this time kahit paano ay kalmado na ang boses niya.

"But it is the only way para maghiwalay kami. I can't let this one blow up. Buhay niya ang pinag-uusapan dito"

He shut up at that. Napailing lang siya as he sat back on his chair. "Nakokonsensya ako.."

"Suck it up" Russel snapped

"Ikaw na lang kaya ang gumawa? You're talking there as if madali ang hinihingi niyo sa'kin!" Captain growled back at him.
